This restaurant is part of a group of three under the same ownership. I’ve already left 5-star reviews for the other two, as both the food and service there were excellent. Unfortunately, this location seems to be the outlier.
We’ve visited a handful of times during our four-and-a-half-month stay, and almost every visit has come with issues. The main problem seems to be a lack of attentiveness and consistency—either from the wait staff or in communication between servers and the kitchen. For example, special requests are rarely followed correctly. I always ask for my smoothie bowl without granola, yet it repeatedly comes out wrong and has to be remade. On multiple occasions, when we ordered two of the same dish, only one arrived until we reminded them. There have also been odd situations, like being asked to move tables despite the restaurant being nearly empty.
To be fair, the food itself is good—not exceptional, but it meets expectations. And I want to stress that the staff is not rude, just a bit lackadaisical. However, after several visits with recurring issues, it’s clear this location struggles with consistency in both service and order accuracy.
For that reason, I’m leaving a 2-star review. I don’t necessarily say “don’t go,” but the restaurant definitely needs to improve its systems and attentiveness to match the high standards of its sister...
Read moreI am a serious foodie, big fan of Vietnam and the food here. We were told and taken here by new friends that told me the place was "healthy". While that single word made me skeptical, I went anyway because I was curious. I was so pleasantly surprised by how big, clean and relaxing the place was away from the insanity of My An. Most of the workers are hearing impaired while main servers are not. Most of the customers were clearly tourists or ex-pats, it still felt kind of local. The best surprise of all was the My Quang bowls were excellent. I thought the flavor was authentic, quality of ingredients were great and everything was fresh. I also ordered fried sweet potatoes that came in wedges were so great and such a fun side. The drinks were in line with many other places. The prices were also on par for many other similar places that served mainly foreigners. The service was fantastic from young servers that tried so hard to fulfill your every wish. I have no bones to pick with this place and pleasantly surprise by the atmosphere, service, food and comfort I felt the whole time i was there. We are...
Read moreLet's start with the fact that I'm autistic with ADHD. I get really over stimulated at some places and while I can appreciate music at a venue what makes a venue best is when I can hear and concentrate on the people that I'm with.
This place has a huge menu and I've started a note on my phone of the dishes I've tried because my plan is to eat each of them. The double rainbow bowl and cookies were a great start.
Edit: I had another thought when I got back home feeling good. I know speaking English is easier in Da Nang than other places in general but I sometimes find it stressful knowing when I should just speak English assuming the person will understand and when they will only speak Vietnamese and even when they speak English I always want to do my best to at least say thank you and as much as I can in Vietnamese because it's the local language and I want to respect that. But here, the fact that I don't have to talk to anyone really makes me feel like I have more energy at the end. I would give this place 10 stars ☺️ I had a really enjoyable time.
I'll try to learn some Vietnamese Sign...
