I have some problems I’d like to share to everyone and the restaurant team.
Coming from another country to dine here on holiday I don’t expect any sort of smooth sailing communication whatsoever so I just point to the food item I’d like to eat for ease between the two parties. However the problem arises when the staff tells me the food item I ordered is sold out in the middle of service (ie. some food item has been served to my table already) after waiting 20-30 minutes. The managers and owners at this restaurant should do better to communicate with the kitchen and waiters when food items are running low to avoid simple problems like this. Furthermore, I find it bizarre when i’m attempting to order a dish and the reason it can’t be ordered is because it’s “too hard to make at this time”, like I get it’s lunch time but why have it on the menu to begin with then (i’m referring to the pho cuon), if anything add a lunch-time only menu to limit the amount dishes that need to be prepared and naturally food quality rises because the food is whatever and the current ratings on Google doesn’t give the restaurant any justice on how mediocre the place is as a whole. And one final thing, if i’m ordering a dish that should be served with rice (given that I ordered rice at the start), then it should come along with the dish as well and not 5-10 minutes later because the dish is going to get cold.
To generalise for everybody, save your money and RUN ! To be honest most high rated restaurants are inflated with 5 star ‘fake’ reviews but doesn’t show you its true colours till your inside dining so honestly it’s all a lucky dip from experience and unfortunately I got the short end of...
Read moreThis restaurant is a complete tourist trap, pushing overpriced “dinner sets” that consist mostly of a plain bowl of noodles with a few condiments arranged in a decorative way. There’s nothing authentic about the food. The staff doesn’t speak English and relies on typing into their phones to communicate, which makes interactions awkward and impersonal. The overall experience is uncomfortable—food arrives within minutes, and the check is placed on your table before you’ve even finished eating, all without a single smile.
I initially ordered a special set, but a few minutes later, they informed me they had run out of one item. However, instead of offering a real substitution, they only allowed me to pick from items already included in the set. When I tried to order something else, they came back moments later saying it was too late because they had already started preparing the original set—forcing me to take the incomplete order. Every interaction was conducted through phone translation, adding to the frustration. The service is impersonal, rushed, and dismissive, making customers feel like an afterthought rather than...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience and serious concerns about food safety and integrity.
Our group was served spoiled spring rolls (nem) that were clearly sour and off. Several people felt unwell after consuming them. When we brought this to the staff's attention, the chef admitted that the food was not fresh and had been served regardless—a deeply concerning admission for any food establishment.
To make matters worse, our invoice included additional dishes we neither ordered nor received. When we queried this, staff refused to amend the bill, insisting the items had been served, despite clear evidence to the contrary. We even pointed to our untouched plates to confirm the missing dish, but our concerns were dismissed.
Between the compromised food safety and questionable billing practices, this experience fell far below even the most basic standards of service. I would strongly caution others before...
