Great Location and Comfort at a Reasonable Price
We recently stayed at Blue Sun Hotel in Danang for two nights, and it was a great experience overall. The hotel is located just a short walk from My Khe Beach, which makes it perfect for anyone looking to relax by the sea or go for early morning walks.
The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable with large windows offering city or ocean views. I especially liked the bed—it was super cozy after a long day of exploring. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with essentials. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.
The Blue moon spa has a calm and inviting ambiance the moment you step in—dim lighting, soothing music, and that refreshing spa scent that immediately puts you at ease.
I opted for the 60-minute Vietnamese body massage, and it was excellent. The therapist was professional, attentive to pressure preferences, and focused on the right areas without me needing to say much. The massage was thorough and relaxing, and I left feeling lighter and refreshed.
The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the herbal tea offered after the session was a nice touch. Prices were reasonable for a hotel spa, especially considering the quality of service and the peaceful environment.
Breakfast had a decent variety of local and international items, and the staff was courteous and helpful, though their English could use a bit of improvement for more complex requests.
Overall Blue Sun Hotel offers good value for money in a prime beachside location. I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next...
Read moreThe hotel is conveniently located just across the road from the beach, making beach access super easy. There are also a few restaurants in the surrounding area. It’s less than a 10-minute drive or about a 30-minute walk to the night market and the Dragon Bridge.
The pool was nice, but unfortunately, the room was very small for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids. Booking.com recommended a Deluxe Triple Room, and the photos showed spacious beds – 1 single bed and 1 extra-large double bed. However, upon arrival, the room felt cramped, with barely any space to move after placing our bags. The beds were much smaller than expected – the so-called “extra-large double bed” felt more like a regular small one. Since the hotel was fully booked, we had no choice but to manage.
Breakfast had a decent variety, but the taste wasn’t impressive. We also requested an adapter at the reception, but they didn’t have one at the time. Even when we asked again the next day, they couldn’t find one.
Housekeeping was inconsistent – some days they forgot to leave towels, hand towels, or a floor mat, and we had to call and request them. At checkout, the receptionist told us some towels were missing, which was frustrating. We explained that housekeeping had missed placing them, and after checking the records, they let us go.
Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re planning to spend most of your time outside and just need a place to sleep...
Read moreAs a digital nomad who’s perpetually on the move, I’m incredibly selective about where I stay—hotels are my home, after all. Before settling on a spot along Da Nang beach, I meticulously explored around 15 properties, from 4-star to 5-star options, since my stays typically stretch a couple of weeks. After all that research, BlueSun stood out as a clear winner, blending top-tier quality with a remarkably competitive price. It’s no wonder this gem is perpetually booked solid.
What sets BlueSun apart? Let me count the ways:
The staff is genuinely warm and endlessly accommodating—hospitality at its finest. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable—everything felt flawless. The beds? Pure bliss—soft, cozy, and perfect for a restful night. Breakfast was a delight, hitting all the right notes to start the day. Honestly, I have zero complaints—a rare feat for someone as picky as me.
But the true standout was Elle. Her hospitality and service were nothing short of extraordinary, elevating my stay to a whole new level. She handled my last-minute requests and changes with a grace and efficiency I’ve rarely encountered, outshining every other hotel I’ve experienced worldwide. Elle is an absolute asset to BlueSun, and I fully expect to see her thriving in a higher role when I return next year for a 1-2 month stay. This place has...
