I saw this place on one of the Da Nang cuisine shows. I was really looking forward to trying their Tamarind Crab and grilled clams and made a special visit during my first evening in Da Nang. The seafood selection is definitely great and very fresh. However, none of the staff can speak English and the menu is really badly written with NO prices. One has to go out and select the seafood from the numerous bins and tanks then struggle to understand how much to pay and how the each dish would be cooked. It took awhile to reach an understanding that I wanted the clams grilled and the crab cooked with tamarind sauce. When the clams were brought to the table, they didn’t look grilled but I supposed I didn’t know any better, since none the the waitresses could answer any of my questions (zero English). The clams were way over done. Next came the Tamarind Crab. The sauce was delicious and the crab was definitely feisty and fresh as the meat was very tight and sweet. The clams costed VND 200,000 and the crab was VND 325,000. I had a Tiger beer that was either VND 15,000 or 30,000 (there was no way i could tell except that one of the charges must be for service fee). Anyways, 2 items and a beer ended up costing VND 570,000 or approximately US $25. I know by US prices this is in the ball park (just think a lobster roll sandwich would easily cost $25). But this is Da Nang Vietnam, where everything is on average cheaper than Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi. I saw locals doing what i supposed was haggling over prices before ordering, but there’s no way foreigners could do that because no staff spoke English. So folks, the seafood is fresh here and the Tamarind Crab is definitely a tasty dish. But beware, if you don’t speak Vietnamese I suggest you befriend an English speaking local to help you out and share a...

This place is the first place that our driver introduce to us.

No menu listing, no price show, that have many type of seafood, but the price show on the board is a little bit expensive.

Then, after a long time useless communicate, one people like supervisor finally come out and order with us.

We order prawn, fish, sotong, fried rice, noodle, vegetable like that, total is 4000K for 16 person. I prefer that need to inform your budget, I remember the first price he open is 6000K, but over our budget, and we say only 4000K, so he change some menu.

The food taste still okay for me. But the fish is undercooked, but the waiter very nice and fast take back to kitchen and cook a long time and...

I recently visited this restaurant, unfortunately the experience is not as enjoyable as I hoped. The restaurant did not provide menus, which made it challenging for me to select dishes without know what was available and how much it costs.

In addition, the waiter was very pushy in trying to get us select their seafood package, even though we have no idea what it included. This made the dining experience even more uncomfortable.

In the end we ordered fried rice, vegetable, pork and squid. When the food arrived, the food is not cooked to our liking and were quite bland. It is quite a letdown.

I sincerely hope they can improve their menu cooking techniques,...
