I was impressed by the 200+ 5 star reviews on Google but after staying here for 3 nights, I have been fooled! These vague, undescriptive reviews were copy and pasted by accounts with only 1 or 2 total reviews each.
Booked on Agoda. I should have read these reviews too. They seemed much more honest.
Bed sheets have stains, we did not get towels to start, bathroom trash was not emptied and had used toilet paper in it. Fridge has a bad smell. Sink had a toothbrush in it, and mugs were dirty. There's hair and dust in places. When we told the staff about the sheets, it was replaced with bedding that had less stains but still was a little spotty (seems they have not heard of bleach). The small ants were not too annoying at first but soon were everywhere all over everything, even the bed.
Wifi was sometimes okay but often too slow, we couldn't even connect the hotel's own tv to the wifi. Shower was not hot even when turned as hot as it could go.
Ultimately this place is totally okay for the price. Normally, not worth complaining about. However, after having stayed in dozens of places all over Vietnam, I know that for this same price, you can absolutely find a better, cleaner place that is honest about any shortcomings and gives you realistic expectations with better service. There are hundreds of options in Da Nang, choose...
Read moreIf you are a light sleeper it’s a no go place at the mo, especially with the construction that’s happening in the neighbourhood. (Video attached) Poor soundproofing in rooms too, you can hear TV and people chatting in the hallway. We booked 3 nights with superior king room, but when we arrived somehow the rooms we booked were all been taken so we had a bigger room that was only left. We had bad sleeps for the first 2 nights, and had to change hotel to have a good rest. Asked if we could get a refund for the last night we booked, but we got refused. When I wrote review on Agoda, their reply for refusing refund was that they already upgraded our room(but actually they had to use bigger room cuz they ran out of the rooms we booked), but we were totally fine with the size of the room we booked we wanted somewhere we can sleep through the night. Would’ve been happier if the smaller room was less noisy, the size wasn’t the problem. Bed was actually comfy so that was a single saviour. Ended up loosing one night worth of money for not a good explanation, should’ve looked for a better place from...
Read moreI stayed here for 2 nights this June, room 303 and I am totally happy with what I paid for. The location is perfect for an early morning and late afternoon swim at My Khê beach, and night walk alongside the beach. Just 4 minutes, across the street, you are at the sandy beach. The room is exactly as described, for the price and hotel category (I saw a few reviews who asked for a 5-star hotel room standard at this super low price but great location, hey come on!), the water in the shower is really good (you do need this after the swim in a sandy beach, my case), the air-con works well, the room is clean, only some light smell due to wooden parkette (as soon as I knew it, I am okay). The place is very quiet at night (but if people talked or played music loud in the other rooms, you may hear them, but my 2 nights here were luckily quiet). The staff is very friendly and helpful with info (if you asked). This is my next times' room if I wanna swim again at...
