I just wanted to let people know if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese banh mi that’s full of flavor…unfortunately this is not the place. We went here on a recommendation of a Grab taxi driver while visiting Da Nang for a few days. The actual physical location seems decent but that’s where it ends. We got 5 to go and none of them tasted right. There’s no pate on the banh mi, and the bottom, half of the banh mi was bland and had some sort of a mushy vegetable with no seasoning whatsoever instead of the typical crunchy orange carrot and white carrot. I still can’t figure out what vegetable was used. The top of some meat and typically sweet chili sauce that spilled out of the sandwich. So basically, the bottom half is mushy and bland and top half is too sweet. Nothing really authentic Vietnamese or some variation of Vietnamese sandwich except for the actual bread itself. Even if you’re trying to make this a Korean fusion sandwich…still miss the mark. Sorry to say, but it’s a...
Read moreTaking a glance at the menu, I couldn't decide between the Pork BBQ banh mi and the Vietnamese grilled pork banh mi, so I ended up ordering both. Let me tell you, it was a flavor adventure! The Pork BBQ banh mi was a delightful mix of sweet and savory, with tender pork and crunchy veggies perfectly balanced in a crispy baguette. Each bite was like a mini celebration in my mouth. And the Vietnamese grilled pork banh mi? Oh, it was something else! Juicy slices of grilled pork nestled among fresh herbs and pickled veggies, creating a burst of freshness with every bite. It was like tasting Vietnam in a sandwich. Read moreSuper tasty! The best modern banh mi I've ever had! The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I got the 1/2 tuna and 1/2 bbq pork. Both were very good, but I'd go all BBQ pork next time since it was soooooo good. The bahn mi is the best because of it's balance between the bread, meat, vegetables and sauces. They even give you a glove to eat it with so your hands stay clean! Or if your hands are dirty.
The place is air conditioned and has several floors. The bathroom is also very clean.
I also got the coconut coffee and was pleasantly surprised!. It's Vietnamese coffee with a shaved ice style coconut. I ate it like shaved ice at first then mixed it with the coffee. Very nice on a warm Da Nang day. I would eat here every week if I...
