A pretty good representation of Thai food. I can see why this is going to be the newest hot spot on An Thuong 30.
Price point is similarly very welcoming.
Word is they have a Thai chef and that’s why things are copacetic. If you have lots of time to spare, (my last visit was 90+ minutes), this might be the place for you.
Items for improvement: I ordered the Pad Krapao moo (pork) and got something that somewhat resembled the krapao but wasn’t. Ok passable. Maybe.
Chili fish sauce was good, they’re not using some repurposed Vietnamese nuoc mam.
Green chicken curry is too watery/light and only has a few pieces of chicken which indicates a lot of cost control.
The moo ping was on point.
Mango sticky rice was decent but unfortunate they just tossed a main and the dessert on the table at once.
Also didn’t order it. But ok. Ate it and paid for it which leads to…
Items for improvement:
Entry wasn’t exactly friendly - asked to sit inside but instead they wanted me to sit outside. So whatever. (-1 point)
Order friction is quite high. Maybe need to put numbers beside each dish so the staff don’t mess it up.
The staff who served me isn’t mature enough to be in this position.
Restaurant owners! Wake up!
Stop hiring your idiot stepson for front end customer service. You’re a business, nots charity and as a customer I’m not giving out donations.
First order, moo ping and something that was supposed to be krapao arrived quite quickly with piping hot rice.
The second order of green chicken curry took about 45 minutes. After finally getting fed up and asking about it, the dish was served which indicates that the staff didn’t place the order in the first part (see above, -1 point).
This is a relatively new restaurant so I won’t be brutal in my evaluation.
Would I come back? Yes to further evaluate whether this is decent...
Read moreEDIT: WOW, this is wild that so many people got food poisoning here recently. I felt so bad leaving this reciew initially, but I hope this can help someone or that the kitchen will listen to the comments. I'm really sorry to leave this review, but I see there are a lot of other 1 star reviews and that I'm not the only one that got food poisoning here recently, so I would like to give honest feedback about my experience.
I ordered pad thai, chicken satay, and mango sticky rice for take out a few nights ago and had the WORST case of food poisoning in my life to the point where my hotel receptionist offered to take me to the hospital. I see many other people complained about the food not being fresh and the dried shrimp in the pad thai, bad smell, etc... I dont know how the food was prepared but I wonder if that could have played a part in my food poisoning? I'm curious to know how all of the recent customers got food poisoning (if you look at all of the recent reviews than more than 5 people got sick).
I'm a veteran traveler that has eaten lots of street food in many countries and I have no food allergies, so I'm really curious to know how old the ingredients were and how the food was prepared.
I want to support small businesses and I'm so sorry to leave a review like this, but I hope the chef and the kitchen can take time to review the ingredients and the preparation process. I see there have already been SO many complaints and I've never had an experience like this where I almost had to go to the hospital.
I'm sorry and thank you for...

We visited the other branch of Kin Kin Thai food at 59 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan and we were the first customers there. We ordered five dishes, and four came out while we waited. As more customers arrived, we finished our four dishes, but the fifth one never came. Even people who arrived after us were served before us.
After waiting for a while and noticed that the staff had clearly forgotten our last dish, I decided to cancel it since we were done eating. When I tried to cancel, one of the staff members rudely insisted I couldn’t, saying we hadn’t waited that long—apparently, 15 minutes is acceptable to them after we had already finished eating the rest of our meal.
When the bill came, it was all in Vietnamese, so we used a translation app and discovered that they had changed the prices and even added the canceled dish to the total! Only after we started checking the bill did the staff realize we caught on to the scam, and they quickly brought us a corrected bill. If we hadn’t checked, we would’ve been charged for something we never even got!
Overall, the food itself was not good. It tasted like reheated leftovers, and the chicken was dry and old. A terrible experience. Bad service, dishonest billing practices, and average food. Definitely won’t be...
