This was my fourth time dining at this Pizza Hut, and it was an outrageously terrible experience. I ordered a medium pizza for my nephew and two sodas. Within the first five minutes, we received our drinks, which was fine. The place was busy, so I didn't complain for the next 30 minutes. However, things took a turn for the worse when a group of Korean customers, who arrived about 15 minutes after us, started receiving their food almost immediately. At this point, we had already been waiting for our pizza for about 45 minutes.
When I finally complained to the staff, I was told that the Korean group was served first because their order didn't include pizza, as there were issues with the oven. After waiting another five minutes, I called the staff again, requesting to pay for our drinks and leave. The staff member assured me they would check and inform me exactly how long it would take for our pizza to be ready. Five minutes later, they came back and told me it would be exactly seven more minutes.
During this time, the Korean customers next to us were continuously receiving their pizzas, while my nephew and I were still waiting. Frustrated, I went to the counter and ordered a cheese bread roll, which the staff claimed would only take five minutes to prepare, so my nephew could have something to eat while waiting.
Despite being told the pizza would be ready in seven minutes, over ten minutes had passed, and we still hadn't received it. The cheese bread rolls were also nowhere to be seen. Instead, we were served a plate of garlic bread as an apology. Finally, our pizza, which felt like it took an eternity, arrived, but by then, we had lost our appetite after nearly an hour of waiting. The cheese bread rolls were still missing.
When I asked for the bill, it turned out that the restaurant had forgotten our order of cheese bread rolls. Upon requesting to remove the cheese bread rolls from the bill, a person who seemed to be the manager offered us a 10 or 20% discount on the total bill for our disappointment.
With such a terrible experience, I hope anyone reading this review will avoid wasting their time and experiencing the...
Read moreThe is definitely a good quality Pizza Hut establishment. Good staff and mostly good quality food. I’ve been coming here for a while now. Over time ... I’ve noticed about 25% of the time there is a chance the staff will mix or mess your order up preparing you food that you did not order . And often times do not bring your order in a typical fashion or sometimes just forgetting half of your order. Ordered soup and bought that out first . Waiting a very long time then I had to remind them that I ordered a pizza . They then go to make it and finally brought that out . And had to also remind them “hey , I ordered a soda” ... don’t expect the best service here but food is good. Though I would never recommend anyone to order a pizza with mayonnaise on it ....
Read moreThe Pizza Hut on Nguyen Van Thoai tastes like the Pizza Hut in Berlin, Vermont, or anywhere else in the States. The prices aren't terrible for Western food in Da Nang. They offer plenty of Western toppings, as well as some more local options. The staff all speak English, so it is very easy to order and ask questions.
It is also conveniently located, maybe 5 minutes on foot from My Khe Beach, on the Eastern edge of the Western tourist area, so you can stop by to pre-game before painting the town red, or settle down after...
