After reading so many enthusiastic reviews we decided to give this place a try and were quite disappointed. Definitely not worth the 1.6m Dong we paid for a meal for 3 with a bottle of wine. Temper your expectations.
On the positive side, the atmosphere is lovely. However, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.
Let's start with the appetizers. We ordered "teriyaki" mushrooms and "avocado" spring rolls. I use quotes because there was no discernable avocado in the rolls nor were the mushrooms glazed with what I would call teriyaki. The mushrooms actually weren't bad but the glaze was straight soy sauce, no hint of garlic, ginger or sweetness characteristic of teriyaki. We told the waiter that they appeared to have forgotten the avocado in the rolls and he said he would go get us some but none ever appeared. After the meal we told the order Indian gentleman who appeared to be the manager what happened and he didn't offer an apology or a comp dessert or anything. He frankly didn't care.
As for the mains, I ordered the Malaysian Curry that another reviewer claimed was the best he had ever had. While the flavor was good it was pretty pedestrian overall. Both it and the beef noodle stew were not hot enough and we had to request chopsticks to eat the noodles with.

Read moreMình là khách quen đi ăn ở Biang rất nhiều lần rồi giới thiệu bạn bè trong ngoài nước, nhưng nhân viên, quản lý, menu thay đổi liên tục nên cũng ko ai biết mình, hôm nay dắt em bé con minh 2t đi ăn sáng, tới nơi nhân viên bảo chỉ có menu ăn trưa, mình gọi món đơn giản nhất là pate gan gà với bánh mì, nhân viên nói hơi lâu mình cũng ok vì mình nghĩ lâu lắm thì 30p, để yên tâm mình chọn thêm khoai tây chiên, sau khi đợi 40 phút tới 10h món khoai ra, ăn xong đã lâu ngồi đợi héo mòn xong đi qua đi lại tới 11h vẫn không thấy bánh mì ra, mình gọi em nhân viên hỏi vì thấy mọi người xem mình ngồi đó như tàng hình, em đi một hồi quay lại nói bếp huỷ món của chị rồi nha, giờ mới đốt bếp mà khói quá nên huỷ, mình há hốc sốc gọi tính tiền im lặng đi về, đi ngang qua bếp anh đầu bếp mặc tà lõn đi dép lào cầm điếu thuốc nói với theo vừa nói vừa cười cợt không nghiêm túc: xin lỗi nha, ăn món khác đi!! Mình dừng lại trả lời: anh ơi đáng lẽ phải báo lại với khách, để khách đợi 1:30p rồi nói ăn món khác thì sao được? Em có con nhỏ dắt đi ăn sáng mà tới trưa không nấu xong sao em dám đợi tiếp? Món khoai chiên và ly coffee Americano làm bằng ly black coffee không đúng chuẩn với giá 70k, nhìn rất sơ sài, để khách ngồi đợi 1:30h không phục vụ nổi ly nước trà, nhân viên thì đông, khoai trong cái chảo mất thẩm mỹ, ly coffee trống trơn với 1 cục đường hết 209k!
Quán vẫn còn trang trí Noel chưa tháo.
Bonus bị một ông đàn ông đầu bếp ăn mặc lôi thôi vừa nấu ăn vừa hút thuốc lá ra ăn hiếp phụ nữ trẻ em, chửi khách như bán cá ngoài chợ.

Over priced-rude-unprofessional both staffs and managers, horrible chef! they have many staffs but seem like no Chefs!
I am a regular guest of this restaurant with more than 15 times there but they can never remember me as they keep changing their staffs and management. I went there with my 2 years old daughter today expecting to have a good breakfast but they said they only have lunch menu, i said its ok. To be safe i ordered easy food just bread with chicken pate and friench fries, 1 americano, after 40 mins as i arrived there at 9:30Am, they served me FF in a pan which not very elegant for me, after finishing the Fries, i waited for 1hr more and all the staffs were passing by doing their things like we were invincible till i had to call the staff who took order to ask how long more i hv to wait? she went to kitchen and came back told me sorry we canceled your order, just now we fired the woods and the woods r not good, i was shocked and asked for bill without any complaints, We were leaving and passed by their open kitchen, their Chef with shorts, slippers, smoking a cigarette while cooking called out to me said: hey sorry! eat something else! that was when i had to speak up, i politely told him i have an infant and we waited for 1:30hr, you should have informed us to change earlier, we cant wait more like that. He shouted at me said: What's the problem with that? Ok go somewhere else to eat, if you are not satisfied go to management to make complaint, you are complaining too much! Which i didn't! I felt attacked especially having my little one with me by a rude man, in a place over priced, 209k for an unpleasant looking french fries and an americano in a black coffee cup! i can have better coffee in other places in dalat with much cheaper prices.
I myself own a coffee shop and Hotel so i always make it easy for other businesses, but to attack woman and infant is not acceptable.
I received unsincerely apologies from the managers which made me more disappointed.

We’ve been waiting for years to try this place, as the last time we were in DaLat the restaurant was under construction. We made it a point to come on this trip, and had the entire place to ourselves, as it was a rainy Saturday afternoon. When we tried to order a bottle of red wine, we were told we could only order by the glass, even though several bottles appeared on the menu. When the food arrived, our entrees came 15 minutes apart. My sea bass was smelly, I mean, smelly- not something you should experience with such a mild fish. My husbands ham and cheese calzone was loaded to the brim with mushrooms (which he hates), even though the menu did not list mushrooms as an ingredient. It was barely palatable. We sat for the entirety our our time with uncleared plates and glasses (and again- we were the only customers in the place).Truly the best part of the experience was the friendly gentleman at the gate who kindly helped us through the rain with our baby.
