This was such a fun experience! One of the pricier restaurants we went to in Dalat but totally worth it. The only menu is written up on a chalkboard in Vietnamese so we couldn't even begin to read it, but our server was really patient with us and spoke just enough English to explain what was available.

Do not go to this restaurant if you like knowing exactly what you've ordered and what to expect. Also don't go if you don't like cooking smoke blowing in your face or uncomfy chairs.

It was a really fun warehouse atmosphere with low stools and tables (pretty typical) and the staff uniform is army fatigues. The average customers seemed to be big families or large groups of friends, possibly because it's a slightly more expensive restaurant and saved for celebrations?

Our food arrived uncooked in a bowl with a hot charcoal slab next to it that we fried our meat on! Very cool, but smokes a LOT. we also got popcorn fried chicken, and some veggies and rice. There were delicious sauces served with everything and ice cold beer.

Good food, good service, smoky as hell. You really will have to shower after your meal because the whole place is the grill. I did get food poisoning early the next morning and I'm 90% certain it was from this restaurant. I'm willing to accept that it may have been my own fault since it's a grill-your-own food place, but I cook for my family on almost a daily basis, and I've never made anyone sick. We had shrimp, frog and pork here. The frog comes already cooked, the shrimp and pork you cook yourself. The morning after eating here I had terrible stomach cramps that kept me in bed and in the bathroom the whole day. Not the worst I've ever had (that was from fried street food in Indonesia) but bad enough. Anyway, just a heads up. Based on reviews, most people really enjoy the place, so my case is probably an outlier. I don't wish it on anyone...
