KINGS BBQ BUFFET HẢI SẢN — Restaurant in Da Lat City

Bad experience.

When we arrived, there were a large party of students and the staff asked us to come back after 30 minutes. We thought this was fair and did so.

When we came back, the crowd was gone and we could order. Very good. After that, all downhill.

I asked for pork and beef as part of the buffet and SPECIFICALLY requested no seafood due to allergies. About 20 minutes later, the waitress arrived with a plate full of beef, pork and squid tentacles…

I asked for a replacement and received the SAME beef and pork, minus the squid. I asked for a fresh one, I have serious seafood allergies, but they thought they could get away with this.

Anyway, finally the right meat arrives but no coal for us to cook it on their BBQ. So finally I have food, only took 40 minutes and no means to cook it… what a joke.

Finally I could cook the meat and sadly, disappointment there too. Flavourless and rubbery.

In terms of service (we are in the restaurant as I type and you can see how many customers there are…) very poor. The restaurant is empty and as I type I’ve been waiting 50 minutes for chicken wings.

In terms of staff…there seem to be about 20 of them and just two customers… but I’m still waiting for food after nearly an hour?

When we arrived the staff were not helpful at all. We were not told where to sit and what to do so once we were seated, it was in the wrong place. We were going to be directed to the right place after 10 minutes of waiting but we were left standing in the middle of the restaurant.

We were then shown to the seafood buffet which would have been fine, except we ordered the BBQ buffet.

The space was also very dirty. There was a thin layer of dust over most surfaces and the floors didn’t seem clean. We ended up leaving because we were clueless in how to even...

We went to try their buffet dinner which is worth the price. They have all kinds of fresh seafoods from prawns, shrimps, oyster, scallops, shells, squids, octupos, crabs and many other seafoods and meats. They have also salmon and tuna sushi, other cooked foods from assorted shells, crabs with sause, prawns, fresh vegetables in all kinds, ice cream, seasonal fruits, sweets etc.. very good location just few meters from the lake and the market.
