Thanh Thuy Cafe — Restaurant in Da Lat City

I just wanted to say, with this being the only restaurant on the lake, I thought it would be a top notch 5 star restaurant but….no, it’s not. To start the night off, server spilled hot tea on us and instead of offering napkins to dry off tea, the whole spilling of tea was just ignored, like it didn’t even happen. They were focused on cleaning the table but definitely not the patron who got tea spilled on. To make it worse, they didn’t have any napkins . What restaurant doesn’t have napkins? We ordered fried calamari and it looked and tasted like chicken nuggets. We ordered seafood with noodles and got beef with noodles. I have been here everytime i went to Da Lat but this time i had such a really bad experience. The female waitress gave us the menu. I told her just we just had drink and no food. She just left without saying a word. I tried to call other staff but they didn't seem to hear. Fianlly, I managed to called a young waiter and ordered our drinks. However, we waited for a really long time but no drinks appeared on our table. I lost a bit of my patient and told the front staff if they had my order then we would take them away. Talking from my experience, I just sat there and enjoyed a humble matcha latte that was, unfortunately, with condensed milk. It is my fault as I didn't say anything to the waiters like the usual no sugar, no condensed milk, so it's not their fault. The place is remarkable because I just wanted to extend the lake experience, and I was not disappointed. First day in Da Lat, the first clearest blue sky I got to see in Vietnam for a long time.
