Bánh Xèo Tôn Đức Thắng — Restaurant in Hà Nội

The bánh xèo and nem lụi here are okay! There are seats available either on the front alley or in the backyard, but they’re quite small and cramped. I went just as they opened, and it didn’t take long for the place to fill up completely.

To reach the dining area, you’ll need to walk through a narrow alley where the vendor is frying bánh xèo—an interesting sight!

However, there are a few things that could be improved. The fillings in the bánh xèo were very sparse. I ordered the beef and shrimp options, but the beef pieces were small, tough, and hard to chew, which was disappointing. I also tried the pork skewers, but I personally didn’t enjoy the texture—it was like soft minced pork pressed onto a stick, lacking any real bite or flavor.

On the bright side, the staff were very friendly, and watching the chef at work was a cool experience.

The restaurant does have a restroom, but it’s a squat-style toilet with a manual water scoop for flushing. Strangely, there were goldfish swimming in the water tank, which I found quite bizarre. It’s worth a visit for the food, but there’s definitely room for...

Bring my friend to eat for the first time my favorite vietnamese food: BanhXeo! We've picked a chicken one(gā, 29k) and I think beef one (bo, 21k). It was good, and we both preferred the chicken one. If you want get full, I'd recommend to take 2 for each person. The price is really cheap! Negative points: I think the crepe was too crispy and too oily. Is it the way they do it in Hanoi? I'm unsure. Price. Also, that place lack a bit of hygiene, so don't go there if that bother you, I actually felt a bit uncomfortable because of that, and I'm use to dirty place for my 5years time...

Quán nằm ngay số 29 Tôn Đức Thắng nhưng chỗ để ngồi ăn thì phải đi vào trong ngõ rồi rẽ vào nhà nha. Thấy đây là 1 địa điểm nổi tiếng được nhiều người check-in nên cũng đến thử xem sao Bánh xèo gồm giá, tôm nhỏ riu riu và thịt Bánh xèo có 3 loại nhân thịt. Lợn: 18k, Bò: 20k, Gà: 28k. Ăn khá ngon mỗi tội vì vỏ bánh là bột nên rất hút mỡ và béo huhu Thế mà mình cũng gọi tận 6 cái ăn liền, và còn ăn thêm 10 cái nem lụi nữa Lúc đầu mình gọi 2 cái lợn, 2 cái bò. Sau gọi thêm 2 cái bò nhưng không tôm. Nem lụi lúc đầu mình tưởng là nem chua nướng, hoá ra là như kiểu chả thịt nướng lên ))) Nem giá 5k/cái. Quán khá đông, hôm mình đến là lúc ông chủ còn đang dọn hàng vì quá sớm Điểm cộng 1 là nước chấm có thể tự phục vụ, bác để trong 1 cái chai ai ăn thêm thì tự rót.
