I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have discovered Xuami Spa, an exceptional oasis amidst the sea of massage and spa options in Hanoi. This establishment truly stands out for all the right reasons.
From the moment I stepped inside, every expectation I had for a spa experience was exceeded. The decor was elegantly modern yet thoughtful, and the entire facility was impeccably clean - from the treatment rooms to the common areas. The staff members were professional and accommodating, even when I was working within a tight time constraint. To accommodate my requests, they had two skilled masseuses work on me simultaneously.
One of the highlights was my first-time experience with the Chinese acupuncture face and head massage - it was simply incredible! The foot and leg massage was also one of the best I've had in recent memory, and I've indulged in many during my continuous travels throughout Southeast Asia in the past few months.
The value offered by Xuami Spa is truly mind-blowing. I've paid significantly more elsewhere and received far less in return.
It’s a relatively new spa, I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the owner, Tina. She was incredibly sweet, accommodating, and spoke excellent English. Learning about her story and vision for the business made me even more enthusiastic about supporting establishments like this. The experience was capped off with a delightful homemade dessert prepared by Tina herself.
Without a doubt, I will be returning to Xuami Spa the next time I'm in Hanoi. This gem is deserving of success & attention. A true five...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Xuami Spa during a recent trip to the city, and I’m so glad I did! I was able to walk in without an appointment, which was incredibly convenient, but I would definitely recommend booking ahead. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and immediately offered a discount on the service I chose. I opted for a full-body massage with hot stones, and let me tell you it was incredible. I’ve had my fair share of massages over the years, but this one truly stood out. The pressure was just right, and the technique was so relaxing that I drifted into a state that felt like sleep. It was the kind of deep rest your body craves, especially after a long day. One of the best things about the experience was how peaceful it felt inside. Despite being in a busy part of the city, the spa was quiet and calm you couldn’t hear any of the usual city noise, which made it that much easier to unwind. If you're looking for a great way to end your day or need to decompress after a long flight, I highly recommend booking a session here, especially later in the evening. It’s the perfect way to wind down and prepare for a night of deep, restful sleep. Xuami Spa is definitely a must-stop if you’re visiting the city. I’m already looking forward to coming back the next time...
Read moreWe booked the Chinese acupressure nourishing hair wash for three people but were left disappointed. Throughout the treatment, the staff were on their phones multiple times and engaged in constant conversation with each other—some of it clearly off-topic. I understand some communication may be necessary, but the lack of focus made the experience feel careless.
The massage was so light it was barely noticeable, and during the blow-dry, one staff member made a comment about my “uneven hair dye,” which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. When I asked to use the toilet, the staff member seemed visibly annoyed.
It also felt like we were treated differently, possibly because we’re younger clients and local. It made us wonder if the experience might have been better if we were foreign tourists. It really depends on who you get, and that inconsistency is a big letdown. I hope the spa works on maintaining the same standard of service across all staff, regardless of who the...
