Bún mọc Thủy — Restaurant in Hà Nội

My Airbnb apartment is above this small shop on an alley, selling beef meatball soup with noodles. I see them making fresh daily. This morning was raining, the perfect time to try this place. This is a family-run restaurant, right in their residence. They do have indoor seating with a couple of tables and outdoor seating off the side of the alley.

The soup is delicious, broth is clear but packs a rich taste. The beef meatballs are flavorful. Each bowl is topped with a bamboo shoot. They have condiments on the table like limes, sliced chile peppers, and garlic vinegar. Overall experience is so satisfying. So...

Highly recommend if you don’t know what to order in terms of too many food options and you want to share different bowls of noodle soup from different places.

My bf and I were torn between this and snail noodle soup so with Grab, we were able to get one bowl each and share.

The shop is in a small alley off of Ta Hien. Went for late lunch and looked like they’re almost done for the day. Just ignored the unsanitary condition (trash on floor, flies buzzing around, etc…) and concentrated on the food taste to woof down a bowl of bún mọc sườn with extra mọc and quẩy. Not bad. But still hungry afterwards so had to get...
