The worst experience we had in all of vietnam. It was extremely difficult to order the food. The waitress got our order wrong even though we just pointed at pictures on the menu. She kept stepping away to ask questions, would come back and not say anything. Then we waited super long for our food. When we followed up with a server he replied "oh I'm just a server, I don't know, I'm so sorry, it's not my fault" instead of just checking to see how much longer it was going to be. Then he proceeded to spend 3 mins telling my friend how handsome he was instead of trying to figure out what was happening, and the resturant wasn't even busy at the time. The food finally came and it was super oily like they had re-fried some of the meats from the previous day or something. Nothing was fresh. After waiting so long for the food we were all extremely disappointed with the food. Some og the dishes were wrong as well but at that point we decided to just eat and leave. Then trying to get take out containers and the bill was a whole other mission. Eventually we all just got up and went to the desk to pay. Finally got out of there, got an alert from my bank for the charge at the resturant. They charged a much higher amount. We had to go back to the resturant to go deal with it. Thankfully the manager apologized and gave us the overcharged amount back but what an...
Read moreIf I could give this restaurant 0 star. Oh, trust me I WOULD. This is an experience I’ve had a few weeks ago. My biggest complaint about this place is NOT the staffs but about the food. For the price that they’re putting out there, I expected it to at least be fresh, however, all of the dishes I’ve tried, as much as I’ve tried to be kinder with my review, it was unacceptable. The tables are filthy, the food are not even edible in my opinion, no offense. Like after that disastrous dinner that I had, I literally had to go out and ate street food as a palate cleanser. Which was, MIND YOU, cheaper, more sanitary and 100% better than whatever they served us that they had the audacity to call “food”. And my 2nd complaint about this place, is how rude the manager seemed to be. Even though she wasn’t outright rude to the customers, she was treating the staffs who looked like they were only teenagers like they were superior to her. She was yelling at them almost everytime she speaks up. I mean, we’re all human, why are you treating little kids are who barely making minimum wages like that. Overall, it just creates a really unwelcoming environment for the guests to dine in. Though, that’s just an additional complaint I had. I do not recommend this place. If you are ever in Vietnam and want to try out the traditional food, this is the last place you...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to the Green Farm Restaurant in Hanoi, I had a rather mixed experience. The restaurant is known for its vegan and vegetarian offerings, which initially seemed promising. However, I was disappointed to find that the food had a peculiar smell, reminiscent of non-vegetarian dishes. This was particularly off-putting as a vegetarian diner.
Moreover, the aftertaste of the dishes served was not up to par. It left a lingering unpleasantness that detracted from the overall dining experience. This was quite unexpected and contrary to what one would anticipate from a restaurant specializing in vegan and vegetarian cuisine.
On a positive note, the service at Green Farm Restaurant was commendable. Upon expressing our dissatisfaction with the food, the lady serving us graciously offered a complimentary fruit dish. This gesture of goodwill was appreciated and somewhat alleviated our disappointment.
In conclusion, while the service at Green Farm Restaurant is praiseworthy, there is room for improvement in terms of the quality and taste of food served. It is my hope that they take this feedback into consideration and strive to enhance their culinary offerings for a better dining experience...
