Tasty food, nice enough. Was craving a burger, thought music was too loud though esp for the am - was there around 10 in the morning and def the music was blasting esp from the ground floor.
What really irked me though is I was in the bathroom when the girl served my drink. As I sat down I noticed a fly in it. I pointed it out to her and she went to the sink area and scooped it out but then simply poured the drink into another cup and handed it back to me. The thing is if I wasn’t sitting on the table on ground floor watching her as she did this I may not have known that she didn’t actually replace the juice? I frowned at her thoughtlessness and even lack of consideration for hygiene. I was like… ?? She still looked at me like she expected me to just take it? I looked at her like I really have to explain to you? No words. Finally she said.. cancel? I nodded and she said ok but no more orange juice. I was like fine, whatever.
However, a bit later she then told me she found more oranges and did I want the drink again? I said yes.. but I don’t like what she tried to do with the fly in the drink without transparency to the customer or even consideration for hygiene. To me it seemed either she was a) lazy not wanting to redo the drink b) lack care towards the customer willing to expose to potential harm c) deceptive - maybe only reason she later amended that they do have oranges is because she realized it’s only 10 am and other customers were going to come in and order, too - which a customer actually did and sitting next to me and ordered orange juice so it’s lucky that she had already prepped mine again before that happened or it would be...

Edit: My wife has vomited all evening after.
We were coming here excited by the nothing of some western food for a change. But we were disappointed.
First, the staff here are very nice, the atmosphere is good, and you get wide verity of drinks and burgers to select from.
But, when you go to a restaurant that charges you a lot of money for a dish (compared to local prices) you expect for the absolute best. You expect all the dishes on the menu to shine and make you happy with every bite.
I myself ordered the pork chops a started and the hog boss, which is also a pulled pork burger, I have never had worse pork meat in my life. The pork was as dry as chewing on a moist tree bark. I didn’t know you can screw up pork chops in south east Asia.
On top of that I’ll add my wife’s quote “it’s not especially delicious” and she’s being polite here. Even their signature fries were bland and more like a potato rather than fries.
Overall, please spend your money somewhere where you won’t feel disappointed after the meal. 600kn dong we spent in this restaurant could have fed us for 2 days...
Read moreThis has one of the best (well, there's just very few of them) customer service we had in all of the establishments we went to in Sa Pa and Hanoi. The crew checked on us from time to time when they passed by. They make conversations with us. I also noticed how they were appropriately friendly conversing with an american family with a kid. They even offered a WiFi password for a new customer (western woman) although I'd say he didn't offer it to us. Mostly the password is on the walls but for this establishment it's not there. I just weren't able to get the name of that guy but pleasantly good customer service. As well as Tammy who also checked on us from time to time. I believe she's the one who welcomed us and showed us toniur seats. We ordered sliders. We're warned that it's a bit small but fortunately they were enough for us. It's interesting how they're not a 'meal' or 'fine dining' establishment but their customer service is very good. It has a pub/bar vibes which I believe is what it is but we don't really drink. We just want some burgers for our last...
