So this cafe owner suddenly appeared on the main road just as we got out of our taxi. The 10.25 train was running late and we had to come now! Obviously we were a bit suspicious but she herded the 5 of us safely across the motorbike filled road, walked us along the railway and sat us down with menus before we had time to think. To be honest it was lovely. Drinks were good even if hot versions were served as cold (lost in translation and she did offer to swap but I didn't mind). No food ordered so cannot comment. Drinks a bit more in price than usual but you are paying for Train St so not unexpected. When the train was due she sat us safely in chairs on the opposite side of the track for an even better view as it was to appear around a slight bend. "Keep knees in" she said and she was right! From collection to train coming was about 10 minutes and amazing pics and videos. Exhilarating experience all round had a great chat to a lovely NZ couple who were also travelling through Vietnam. My understanding is that this end of train street is quieter than the northern end and it was well worth...

Shop name: “Coffee-Beer-Tea Mrs Hai Phuong”Very nice owners who don’t pressure and warmly welcomes customers to sit down (no touting which felt nice). Owners also explain to us the train arrival timing and how close we are to the train track (seats are carefully set safely away from the train but close enough for us to experience the whoosh from the train). We had a few drinks and forgot our umbrella. Owner ran after me down the train track just to return me my umbrella. Will highly recommend anyone to visit this shop for an easy going...

Lovely, Friendly owner and relaxed atmosphere. I had Awesome Egg coffee and home made pudding. Both Very special and tasty. They welcome you warmly Although they don’t speak a lot in English. Thanks to them I really relaxed. I was so happy that we communicate with my baby Vietnamese and via app. The owner really good at singing as well ;) One of the warmest memory in Hanoi. When I come back Next time I want to try meals ! I recommend you to check the time schedule for train.when I went there it was not the time, so I came back again...
