Eggyolk Coffee — Restaurant in Hà Nội

We love this place! This was our first time here. We did have a little bit of a hard time finding the place since it was hidden inside a small alley way. There is a small poster sign at the entrance of the alley way to guide you into the shop. You just have to keep walking into the alley way, and it will be on your left. The shop is super cute! There is a small upstairs seating area where you will sit on a small cushion on the ground. We ordered a double egg yolk coffee and a Binh Minh coffee. The double egg yolk coffee was super thick! We have been trying the egg yolk coffee all over Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi and this has been the best so far! The Binh Minh coffee was a mix of expresso, condensed milk and whipped cream. It was strong but perfectly balance with the sweetness of the condensed milk and whipped cream! I wish the Binh Minh coffee was a larger serving size, but both of the drinks were AMAZING! Highly...

Quaint little coffee shop tucked inside an alley. It took me a while to figure out where this gem was, but after asking around I finally found it. I visited after a long walk around Hanoi, late in the afternoon. I ordered egg yolk coffee, which is the namesake and specialty of the place. You can order either with 1 or 2 yolks for your coffee. Price is above normal, but taste is more than average. I love the thick creaminess of the yolk on coffee. Ambiance was nice. Lighting was just right. Egg coffee (cà phê trứng) is a renowned Vietnamese drink that combines egg yolks and condensed milk. This blend creates a sweet, frothy layer atop a strong Vietnamese coffee.
