Evenstar Craft Beer Pub - Bia Thủ Công — Restaurant in Hà Nội

This is one of the best places to get craft beer in Hanoi. I wondered around the city and found this place by accident. It is on the second floor of a building on the corner of a bustling street in the city of Hanoi not far from Vietcom Shopping Mall. The entrance is a small staircase leading up to the second floor where the restaurant is located. The food is OK but the highlights are the craft beer that the restaurant has. The price is great and the beer is very good: I recommend the California IPA, which is my favorite.

Oh, maybe we just went at a bad time, but the bar was completely dead at 7:30 p.m on a Friday. Only at the very end did one other person come.

The food is not very good with small portions, so I would suggest eating beforehand. The beer is nice, but it's around $5 a glass — much more expensive than more local places in Hanoi.

Even with the happy hour's 2 for 1 we felt as if we overpaid.

I'm not sure if we were just unlucky but it kind of feels like some of the reviews have been written a long time ago or are not completely legitimate.

I would only come here if you're okay spending above local prices and you already have good company.
