Kalina Café — Restaurant in Hà Nội

The location is absolutely stunning, I'd say it's the best in this area, right at the street corner with a direct view of Hoan Kiem Lake. The owner is an elderly lady, but very friendly and welcoming. The prices are in line with this prime location, and the quality is decent. Sitting here on a cool autumn morning, feeling the breeze, sipping on a glass of iced coffee, and hanging out with friends is truly relaxing. Not gonna lie, I could do this every day, but because it's such a beautiful spot, it tends to get crowded, making it a bit noisy, and I personally prefer a quieter ambiance. Delicious waffles and coffee. Came here after a Google search and found that this cafe serves waffles. I ordere the waffle with whipped cream and mango, it was delicious! The waffles were soft and the mango was fresh and juicy. I also ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee which was also great. Their drinks menu is huge, teas, coffees, juices, smoothies, mocktails and more. So much choice! Small cafe but nicely decorated, quite modern. The location is view is great, and I'm not judge of food and drinks.

But let's talk what nobody else is talking about - the service and staff attitude.

Some people in the reviews have pointed out that the staff is impolite.

What I saw was subtle racism among the staff. While I was waiting for my order, I observed how the lady at the counter greeted the westerners and how her behaviour changed when it came to her own people, and how it changed even further with brown people.
