It looks nice but don't be lured. You can understand the place is doomed as soon as you taste your little cup of water. Seriously their water has a strong taste of homemade bad filtration system. For the price and top matcha, you need a top water to start. The hojicha ice cream ball was horrible. I think it was expired. I tried a bit and had let it like this and left. I can tell you there is little to no cream in this "ice cream". Milk only. The texture was sandy, like if they used a kind of powder or flour as a texturing agent to compensate the lake of cream. Moreover it tasted sometimes mint/toothpaste like a if a cheap conservative product had been added. A really weird taste very unrelated to hojicha and cream and at the end, very disgusting. Even for free I won't eat it again.
The matcha bowl tasted super bitter. So bitter I feel my throat was attacked by acids. I think the powder is not well preserved and is really oxydized.
The WC smells super moldy and needs a deep cleaning. The ground floor lakes ventilation. It is a bit suffocating.
The cups feels really like Vietnam made.
The staff is clumsy. They tell you to wait for the device to beep but actually come to serve you. So we never know of we have to go back to the counter or wait for a waitress.
For 400-500k vnd it was extremely deceiving. A place that works more on the marketing that...

On September 9, I went to nagocha and ordered the Cold Wisk Yame Haruka, milk, no sugar.
The verdict? Tragic. The matcha tasted awful. Not just bitter, but with this swampy, murky aftertaste that clung to my tongue like regret. Even the cheapest Japanese brands don’t slap you in the face with bitterness like this. And no, it wasn’t the sugar (or lack of it). This was 100% the matcha’s fault, with a side of seaweed funk.
I’ve bought and drunk matcha straight from Japan for years, and never, not once, have I had something this bad.
(´;ω;`) To be fair, the shop itself is cute, the setup is nice, but the drinks? Total betrayal. Beautiful wrapping, garbage filling. Safe to say, I won’t be back.
📸 Pic 1: Proof I bought it 📸 Pic 2: Proof I actually drink Japanese matcha
Bonus note: I saw the shop’s replies saying it’s because they use “ceremonial grade matcha.” Girl, let’s be real, that term doesn’t even exist in Japanese. It’s just marketing fluff. Japanese producers don’t split matcha into “ceremonial” or “culinary.” They classify it as thick tea (koicha) or thin tea (usucha). If you don’t believe me, check the official websites of...

If you love matcha, this is your dream spot! I visited Nagocha (なごちゃ) and ordered their signature iced matcha latte and matcha nama chocolate. The flavor? Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—no bitterness, just pure matcha goodness. The iced latte was creamy with a refreshing chill, and the nama chocolate was melt-in-your-mouth soft, dusted with vibrant matcha powder.
Why you’ll love it: ✅ Authentic Japanese matcha flavor ✅ Cozy, minimalist wooden interior ✅ Calming background music — like a meditation session 🎶🪷 ✅ Attention to detail in both presentation & taste ✅ Perfect spot for relaxing, studying, or catching up with friends
Tip: Pair the matcha latte with the nama chocolate—it’s a matcha match made in heaven! 🍵💚
📷 Don’t forget to take a photo—the presentation is too pretty not to share!
