The restaurant is located on the 9th floor, offering stunning views of the city skyline and the Red River. The warm and inviting decor, complete with steel blue and warm grey tones and dark brown furniture, made me feel like I was in a cozy and intimate setting, despite the breathtaking views.

But let's talk about the food, because that's what really stole the show. I started off with the seafood soup, and I have to say, it was one of the best soups I've ever had. The broth was packed with flavor and the seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. The beef carpaccio was also fantastic, with thin slices of tender meat and a delicious mix of Parmesan cheese and herbs.

And the pan-fried salmon with cognac sauce? Oh, it was a true masterpiece. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky and moist with a crispy skin, and the cognac sauce was rich and velvety. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me feeling truly content.

The service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable dining experience.

We had an outstanding dining experience at The Gourmet Corner in Hanoi. From the moment we arrived, the team was professional, attentive, and committed to ensuring a wonderful evening. My companion has a shellfish allergy, and the staff were very accommodating in confirming that our dishes would be safe to enjoy.

Our server, Phuong, was exceptional—kind, generous, and attentive throughout the entire meal. She took the time to explain the local tradition of eating Pho and how The Gourmet Corner enhances the experience, encouraging us to savor each bite with beef, broth, and noodles together. Her patience, attention to detail, and genuine care made the evening feel truly special. She even offered to take photos of us, which turned out far better than our selfies!

We ordered from the "Hanoi's Delicacies" section of the menu: "Hanoi Beef Noodle" and "Hanoi Fish Sauce Chicken Wings", followed by a delightful dessert of "Passion Fruit Ice Cream with Apple Sauce" and a fresh seasonal fruit platter. Our drinks—a Nojito mocktail and hot lemongrass tea—were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal.

Great place. We arrived 6am to ha noi from sapa, it was raining heavily we needed somewhere to go for 2 hours until our bus come to pick us up to ha long bay. Hotel staffs were so nice allowed us to store luggages and we had breakfast at the 9/f restaurant.. it was sooooo worth it .. not expensive at all 250k dong per person with the best buffet breakfast ive had in hanoi (have lived in 3 different hotels in ha noi tried 3 different breakfast buffet) high quality food, pho was so on point, very freshly cooked food .. had local delicacies such as ban cuon! Fruit super fresh.. juices were also great .. in individual bottles. Desserts was lovely, loved their flan and very freshly cooked food, crispy friend food hot on the inside , yogurt and drinks r all well kept in a fridge My friend had gastroenteritis , felt nausea from the bus ride … didnt eat anything, they offered drinks on the house and didnt charge him as he didnt eat anything. The toilet was also super duper clean Overall great experience… would definitely book the hotel to stay for a night next time in ha noi Highly recommend for a meal here even if not staying in the hotel.. they had great views and very lovely design of the restaurants and sparkling clean.. not a single flying insect seen .. aircon at the...
