From the moment I stepped into this charming Vietnamese restaurant, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a delightful dining experience. The interior exuded a cozy elegance, with subtle cultural accents that paid homage to Vietnam's rich heritage. The service was outstanding; attentive without being intrusive, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, offering recommendations that were spot on. As for the food, it was nothing short of sensational. Each dish, though I hesitate to single out specifics, was a masterpiece of flavor, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and the authentic Vietnamese flavors shone through in every bite. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection. This restaurant is a true gem for anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Vietnamese...
Read more[Non vegan restaurant with vegan options] I've been going around the old quarter trying banh xeo from different restaurants. The price in the restaurant menu is different from the photos the restaurant has uploaded on google. It's more expensive, paid around 125.000 (?) not including the taxes. I usually don't mind high prices but the vegan banh xeo here is just OK. There's only bean sprouts and thin carrots inside, the pancake is very thin and no tofu or bun noodles on the side. So I would say for what you get it's quite expensive. The service is also not attentive, even when you're calling the waitresses they don't hear you in the already small restaurant, and when they walk by you try to tap them on their hand to get their attention they also don't even realise. It's not only one person, it's several staff. I find that this behaviour is common in Hanoi but hope they can improve their staff's...
Read moreSCAM and DIRTY As a local, it’s sad to know that the food is not authentic at all and is way overpriced comparing with the quality and local prices. The restaurant itself is very dirty, trash was on the floor and a layer of fat would stick to your phone case or sleeves if you leave them on the table. We ordered stewed beef, rolled Pho and traditional Pho. The meat was very chewy (even the stew) and food in general is flavourless. I would love to support the local business but I feel wrong since this feels like a scam. Additionally, they demand to charge 3% extra if you paid by card. This is absolutely illegal base on Vietnamese law which many people don’t know. I informed them about the law and they still insist charging the extra fee. I would never come back and there is no reason to support this kind of business.
