419 is a well-hidden bar tucked away in a back alley surrounded by the ghosts of failed ventures—Into the Kitchens, Zara Outlet, and possibly BikerShield, though I can’t say for sure if that one’s gone. What is certain is that this area has seen its fair share of misses, which makes 419’s success all the more impressive.

The bar itself is consistently solid—great drinks, attentive service, and a vibe that feels like a little spark of life in a part of Ho Chi Minh City that most have forgotten. I’ve spent many nights here and always leave feeling like I discovered something worth protecting.

Alley way cocktail bar/eatery. Went on a Friday night, the place wasn't crowded. The staffs were pretty clueless about the promotions that they were running on other platforms, gave my food to a different table, ended up having to wait 45 mins. The dishes were tasty, kudos to the creativity & attention to details with the avocado flower. The glass selection for the cocktails could use a lot of improvement, the Xoi Xoai cocktail was nice but the bartender literally served it...
