If you're Indonesian and travel to Vietnam.. you must be here to cure your homesickness of Indonesian taste.. If you're Moslem and you need to find halal food, you can also refer to this restaurant.. The owner and the staff were really nice.. also you can change your rupiah to vietnamese dong in here.. They also made their own tempe (soybean cake) by themselves on their 3rd floor.. Besides the taste was really good, the price was also more affordable than other Moslem restaurants.. The best menu is ayam penyet (smashed chicken with indonesian sambal), and you can try another chicken menu.. they also provide gado-gado (indonesian salad with peanut sauce).. 🙂 Last time before we dined in, we took from grab food, since the taste was good, we wanted more, so we came to this place and dined in.. also we took it away for our...

food was delicious!

the smashed chicken (ayam penyet) was delicious! the sambal sauce was an absolute and show stopper!

they practically put the sambal on everything though! so if you can't do too much spice make sure to mention it to them! but it honestly was addictingly goooood!

service was interesting - im assuming they dont speak any viet, which is fine (as they only ever spoke to me in english) but what i found odd was that the ground floor tables were empty but they asked me to dine upstairs. ud think they would want their customers to be on the ground floor so that people driving by would see their restaurant being busy and full

either way.. service was okay, decor was very basic.. but definitely coming back...

I had high hopes for Ayam Penyet Vindo – Halal, especially since Indonesian cuisine is one of my favourites (as you'll see from my other reviews). Sadly, the experience didn’t meet expectations.

The food took a long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it wasn’t enjoyable — definitely not the quality I was expecting. My friend couldn’t even eat their meal.

To top it off, a Filipino food blogger was live-streaming right next to our table and speaking so loudly that it ruined the atmosphere. We couldn't enjoy our lunch and decided to leave early.

Disappointed overall. There's potential, but the food quality, service speed, and dining environment need...
