Taste is subjective. Of course someone will like this place more than I did. But to me these bagels are dense and heavy. Feels like chewing a bunch of dough. I do think it’s a copy of the other well stablished bagel brand in TD.
Donuts: are the best and I always went up there for the donut and coffee. But that’s it.
Here is why I will never go back and keep telling the story to other people so they won’t go there. This is to the owner - if you remember me, I was the one who suggested you guys should give a student discount as it’s basically next door to a university (old location). Just a suggestion, up to you if you want to do it or not. But instead YOU (my dear owner) mentioned how some students are very low class as you have seen them eat at G25. But why in the hell you would ever make a comment like that? When I was an university student in the US I used to go for free pancakes deal (at Dennys) as I was so broke. These are college students!! Not everyone’s parents will be paying everything for them.
I hope you have a PhD or atleast a masters to make a comment like this. What a shame to the people that raised you. I wouldn’t even say that to my...
Read moreOut of the 3 main Bagel cafes in Saigon Bagel Bros far exceed their competitors. I always order the same item after having tried a few different bagels. For me it's the ham and cheese on a sesame seed bagel but lifts it above the others is the addition of their homemade tomato relish. On our last visit we met one of the Australian brothers who own the business and discovered it was their own family recipe from Australia that'sbeen handed down. So do yourself a favour and order the ham and cheese bagel and you'll soon agree with me that the tomato relish lifts it to another dimension. The place is scrupulously clean and it's a pleasure to dine in. They also have a cake counter where you can indulge in sweet pleasures. Unfortunately being Diabetic I have to pass on that sinful pleasure. Lol Did I mention their jam doughnuts are divine but I suffered a blood sugar spike afterwards so will have to resist that next time. Give them a try out, you won't be disappointed. Oh and their homemade gingerbread is...
Read moreBagel Brothers is an EXCELLENT bagel shop.
Where to begin:
The staff is incredibly friendly. Very professional. For the foreigners visiting, they also speak good English. The owners are great people too. Really down to earth. The shop is also very clean and has great AC.
The bagels are great. Super yummy. Never had a complaint with the food here. Always top notch. The desserts are seriously world class. The donuts and cinnamon rolls are some of the best I've ever had. When I have friends eat here for the first time, they all, without fail, say the exact same thing.
As far as the drinks go, I only order the Vietnamese coffee, which is my favorite in the city. Some Vietnamese coffee in Saigon can be hit or miss, but the flavor, quality, and consistency here really stands out. The coffee is good every.single.time.
Can't recommend this place enough. If you're in the area,...
