Buongiorno — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I've lived in Vietnam for 20 years I've eaten it every single Italian restaurant that's ever existed in ho Chi Minh City.

Bongiorno is hands down the best Italian restaurant there is in ho Chi Minh City.

Are the restaurants maybe more fancy and they may have bigger better venues.......

It's all about the food. The food at Bongiorno is top quality. Absolutely everything I've ever ordered there is absolutely top-notch as good as I've eaten anywhere.

My go-to is the tuna salad. This is not your average tuna salad this is the best tuna salad in Vietnam. It's not made from canned tuna. It is a solid chunk of tuna steak Sid to perfection and served a top a bed of mixed salad with an awesome lemon balsamic vinegar dressing....... Had a price that is unbeatable.

I also get the seafood soup which is absolutely fantastic to die for. It is the best seafood Italian soup I've ever eaten in my life it is so good I cannot describe it it is just wonderful.

The spinach and cheese ravioli is also as good or better than anything else available in the city it is fantastic.

There are numerous other dishes that I could go into a lot of detail about but I don't need to all you need to know is that you will not be disappointed.

The food is awesome and the prices are unbeatable this is the best value Italian restaurant in Vietnam.

My go-to is a tuna salad and a seafood soup and a soda water comes in at 250,000 and plus 20,000 vnd tip works out about $13 US.

There is nothing available in ho Chi Minh City that compares to the quality of food that I get for that $13. NOTHING.

Eating at buongiorno isn't absolute pleasure The staff are nice the food is awesome and the prices are unbeatable I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who's serious about eating good food in ho Chi Minh City.

Updated on Nov 2021: I haven’t been here for a while and I was surprised coming back when they had pizzas on their menu and I would love to try. And yes, I like it as much as I like any other dishes here. Crispy and tasty. And also they’ve upgraded this chilly oil or it has been there since day 1 but I didn’t notice. I love it when everything stays the same after one-year open or it’s getting better :)

Newly opened Italian restaurant. Small, simple but the food quality is really good. I had lunch last week and suddenly that day they were very busy and a little bit slow to serve food but it doesn’t matter cause it’s worth waiting. I went there around 3pm and I was the only customer. I was welcomed by a very friendly and smiling girl. I ordered tagliatelle with italian ham and a mushroom sauce. The pasta quality was really top and the service too as I had bread, butter and parmesan next to my plate. I must also point out the fabric towel which is unfortunately increasingly rare. In terms of price that restaurant is cheaper than most Italian restaurant in Saïgon and the quality is better to my taste. Unquestionably a place to visit for very good quality/price in Thao Dien.
