This was one of the best meals I have ever had. My friend and I went for lobster, sweet snails, massive prawns, japanese scallops and morning glory. All straight from the grill that we watched our lovely chef cook right in front of our eyes. GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR PATRONAGE. They deserve it as they are competing with a lot of many more expensive options on this busy, colourful strip. You will also get an 100 out of 10 meal for a fraction of the prices marketed by their competitors. I love seafood and have sampled a lot all around the world and this is by far the best, for quality and price. The best culinary choice I have ever made....

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more reviews. It’s on a street full of tourist trap restaurants but Cua Bui Vien is far from that!

We’ve eaten here several times during our trip to Saigon, after being enticed by the huge selection of seafood and meats being BBQ’d on the street and the super friendly staff who aren’t pushy at all unlike several other places on this strip.

Every single thing we’ve eaten has been incredible, from beef skewers to grilled prawns, the beers are cold and the prices are good. Always full of locals who are happy to chat. If you pass this place, don’t keep walking. You...

A family run restaurant offering a smorgasbord of grilled seafood!

We stopped by this place for dinner and ordered the Stir Fried Rice with Beef, Stir Fried Bok Choy with Mushroom and Steamed Okra with Eggs. We washed it all down with some tasty BIA Saigon!

The place is cute and tiny, with limited seating and as it's at the far end of the Bùi Viện street, was pretty devoid of any customers when we walked in. The owners are very courteous and we were promptly seated.
