the prices here are rather high. the drink I ordered was disappointing and took ages to arrive to the table. having acquired the drink, the waiter ended up taking the wooden label with the number (which is collected once all items have successfully made it to you) with him. the croissant I ordered ended up being forgotten in the process and I had to wait further.
overall, the atmosphere and interior of this coffee shop is sterile and uninteresting. service is poor and inefficient. same goes for their branding: the font and logo are both forgettable elements of a boring whole. the graphic design of the red information leaflet introducing the farmers is a nice touch though. it is well-designed and pondered upon, so I know with more effort and thought, this place could be not just another minimalist coffee shop in the heart of saigon.

There was a female staff with a "trainee" name tag who was exceptionally helpful, she helped answer questions my partner and I had on buying the whole beans. She came up to us after we bought the beans to ask if we could speak chinese and we said yes, and she told us to consume the beans after a week so it's nicer.
