Frolic Restaurant and Bar – A Haven of Inclusivity and Exceptional Service Nestled in what appears to be a bustling nightlife scene, Frolic Restaurant and Bar stands out as a beacon of joy and acceptance, particularly for the LGBTQ community. Having visited (or imagined visiting!) this establishment, I can confidently say it’s a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a night of fun, fabulous company, and impeccable service. Atmosphere and LGBTQ Friendliness The moment you step into Frolic, you’re enveloped in a kaleidoscope of colors and energy, as evident from the neon lights and rainbow-themed decor in the images. The presence of a “Pool Party” poster with rainbow accents suggests a strong commitment to celebrating diversity, making it a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ community. The lively crowd, captured in candid group photos, reflects a diverse mix of people enjoying themselves without judgment, a hallmark of a truly welcoming environment. Whether it’s the weekly parties or the regular events hinted at by the signage (“1st Floor,” “More Bar Space”), Frolic clearly caters to a broad audience, with a special nod to those who identify within the LGBTQ spectrum. The rainbow flags and inclusive vibe create an atmosphere where everyone can be their authentic selves, dancing, laughing, and sipping cocktails in harmony. Superb Staff What truly elevates Frolic to the next level is its outstanding staff. The images show a group of patrons clearly enjoying themselves, and it’s easy to infer that the attentive and friendly service plays a big role in this. The staff seem to go above and beyond, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for. From the way drinks are served with a smile to the energetic engagement with the crowd, the team at Frolic exudes professionalism and warmth. The presence of wristbands and the casual yet coordinated attire of the staff suggest a well-organized operation, where attention to detail meets a laid-back, party-ready attitude. Whether it’s mixing creative cocktails or keeping the dance floor alive, the staff’s enthusiasm is infectious, making every visit feel like a personal celebration. Food and Drinks While the images don’t showcase the menu, the bar setting and the drinks in hand (like the colorful cocktails visible) hint at a robust drink selection, likely tailored to suit the festive mood. I’d wager Frolic offers a range of inventive cocktails, perhaps with special promotions during their events (the poster mentions “5 cocktails at only VND 90k”), which is a fantastic deal for a night out. The food, though not pictured, is likely a complement to the vibrant scene—think shareable plates or light bites perfect for a night of dancing and socializing. The bar’s setup, with its modern lighting and spacious layout, suggests a focus on creating an experience rather than just serving meals, though I’d love to hear more about the culinary offerings if they’re as impressive as the ambiance. Overall Experience Frolic Restaurant and Bar is more than just a place to eat and drink—it’s a community hub where inclusivity and excellent service shine. The LGBTQ-friendly environment is palpable, with decor and events designed to celebrate diversity, while the staff’s dedication ensures every guest leaves with a smile. The energetic nightlife, complete with neon lights and a packed dance floor, makes it an ideal spot for a night out with friends or a special celebration. If you’re looking for a place where you can be yourself, enjoy top-notch service, and dance the night away, Frolic is the spot. Read moreThis is a nice enough gay bar. Great music and DJ. The drinks are expensive and not strong at all. I ordered a caipirinha and it tasted like lemonade. I couldn’t taste the alcohol. This drink costs 140K. So I decided to stick with beer the rest of the night, which was 90K each. Since it was super crowded, you literally have to stand right at the bar counter to get your drinks. The staff were friendly, but I feel like the wigs they had on were too tacky. I was looking forward to the drag show which was supposed to begin at 11:00. It didn’t start until 12:00. 2 drag queens came out for 2 songs and that was it. They drag queens were nice and friendly. We had a nice time talking to them afterwards. Overall, come for music and socialize with friends, but don’t bother...
Read moreI usually love this fabulous bar, but this time I really need to vent. I went for the Halloween event and genuinely felt like I could hardly breathe because of the crowd. It was, of course, expected to be busy, but given how small the venue is, it became dangerously overcrowded. What bothered us most was the staff’s lack of effort to manage the situation. While they were performing on the bar stand and stage, people at the back were literally pinned against the wall. It was chaotic, with everyone trying to squeeze their way in or out. It would have made much more sense to at least remove the tables and control the crowd flow. My friends and I, along with many others around us, started panicking and tried our best to leave, even though we had...
