Jaspas Ho Chi Minh City: A Sunday Roast Worth Writing Home About
There’s a kind of magic in finding a roast that makes you pause mid-bite, look around, and silently nod in appreciation. Jaspas in Ho Chi Minh City delivers exactly that.
Let’s talk about their Sunday Roast—a mix of tender lamb and succulent turkey, perfectly cooked, with every bite telling a story of tradition, care, and flavor. The lamb is rich and hearty, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, while the turkey boasts a juicy tenderness that’s often elusive in lesser kitchens. Pair that with crisp, golden roast potatoes, velvety gravy, and Yorkshire puddings that would make any Brit homesick, and you’ve got a plate of pure comfort.
But it’s not just the food that sets Jaspas apart. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and buzzing with the energy of friends and families gathered for a proper feast. Service is seamless, the portions are generous, and the experience feels like a celebration of Sunday itself.
In a city where food culture thrives, Jaspas has carved out its place as the spot for a Sunday Roast that’s second to none. If you’re in Ho Chi Minh City and looking for a meal that feels like a warm embrace, you’ll find it here.
Sunday plans? Sorted.

They have a sports bar inside which would be good to watch all your rugby, futbal, boxing or MMA events. They offer party reservations and plenty of space to accommodate 100's of people at once.
Definitely come once and experience for yourself. We came on Easter Sunday so they had an egg hunt for kids which was exciting. I'm sure if you want to arrange an event similar they would be open to supporting your request. Jaspas Thao Dien is excellent. The manager clearly educated and trains their staff to the customer experience and does not take acquiring new business for granted.
one thing they can improve on is bringing the bill to the table so customers dont have to go to the bar to...

Service was good too, but may be excessively attentive. We were asked by different waiter and waitresses if everything was alright throughout our meal at about 15mins interval each time. To the point where I was having a conversation with my partner about the restaurant design and the waiter interrupted our conversation to ask if there was a problem.
We had Asian food while we were there (and it may be a wrong decision as we noted most people do provide good feedback about the western menu) but it wasn’t up to our expectations. Portion was large and price was high too, don’t think will order the same if we would...
