KOI Pasteur is already a well-known brand, and I have to say this particular branch is one of my favorites. Its location is extremely convenient, right on the main road between Buster Street and Ton Dat Hiep Street, directly opposite Kashimaya. Whether you're shopping or just passing by, it's super easy to drop in.
In terms of pricing, it's pretty standard for KOI. Drinks range from about 49,000 to 100,000 VND, which I think is reasonable for the quality they offer. One major plus for this branch is that they now offer an additional floor dedicated to KOI Cafe. This is great for older people or anyone who isn’t into bubble tea, as they can still come here and enjoy a good coffee.
However, there is a downside. Since KOI Cafe opened, they’ve divided the seating areas. Customers who want bubble tea can't sit on the second floor anymore and are forced to either sit on the third floor or outside. This feels a bit inconvenient and gives the impression that there’s a separation between the two groups of customers, even though both are under the KOI brand. It would be much better if they could fix this issue.
Overall, aside from this, I don’t have any complaints. The location is super convenient for a quick stop, and the drinks are as good as ever. If they could improve the seating arrangement, it would make the experience...
Read moreReally really disappointing. Staff was stressed, seemed almost frantic and treated their job like factory workers. Not much fo an inviting interior also added to this being a cold feeling... and it seemed even more cold and robot-like when the staff all blindly yelled out a greeting without even looking up from their work whenever a new client walked in.
Next- the drink was ok, but almost wanted to not drink it.... because the working area was filthy and non-hygeniec. The staff used metal containers (like cocktail shakers) to mix the tea with various ingredients... that is fine, but they placed the metal mixing containers on the filthy wet and dirty metal working surface full of tea, with an occasional swipe from a dirty rag to mop off the excess spilled liquid.
So the bottoms of these mixing containers were dripped with a combination of other people's tea and dirty rag liquids.... ok, BUT WHEN they poured the tea mix into plastic cups, they used the dirty bottom of these containers to top off the freshly poured drink in the cups, so they could add milk foam or other ingredients. really really really...
Read moreI have no idea why this store is located in the most central and crowded district yet always runs out of black tea! (Once on a weekday at 9:20 PM and twice between 9:30 PM and 9:40 PM on weekends.)
As a Koi member who buys Koi every day, I must say I’ve never experienced this issue at any other Koi Thé store in HCMC. Therefore, I feel the need to raise this concern.
The staff here seem inattentive or fail to prepare the ingredients properly, which is why this keeps happening. It has reached the point where I am extremely...
