During our recent stay at Sedona Suites Ho Chi Minh City, my family and I experienced a level of hospitality that truly stands out, thanks to the dedicated team at The Straits Kitchen & Bar and the attentive housekeeping staff.||From the moment we arrived, Jenni and Max at The Straits went above and beyond to make our dining experiences truly memorable. Whether it was a quick breakfast before a busy day or a relaxed afternoon tea, they never missed a beat.||Jenni’s warm, welcoming smile each morning set the perfect tone for the day. She took the time to remember our coffee preferences and even made thoughtful menu suggestions based on our tastes, ensuring each meal felt personalized. One morning, knowing we had a packed schedule, Jenni ensured our breakfast was served promptly, without ever compromising on quality – a small but deeply appreciated gesture.||Max, with his sharp eye for detail, took the time to understand our dining preferences, always recommending dishes that perfectly matched our tastes. He even remembered our favorite corner table with a stunning view of the city skyline, making every meal feel special. His recommendations, like the signature Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice, were spot on – beautifully presented and perfectly prepared, capturing the rich flavors that The Straits is known for.||But the exceptional service didn’t stop at the restaurant. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Ms. Thu, the housekeeper on the 38th floor. During our stay, I accidentally left a significant amount of foreign currency on the table before heading out for a long day of shopping. To my absolute relief, when I returned late that evening, every note was exactly where I had left it – a powerful reminder of the honesty and integrity of the team at Sedona Suites.||It’s these thoughtful, personal touches – the warm smiles, the attention to detail, and the genuine care for guests – that turn a good stay into an unforgettable one.||Thank you, Jenni, Max, and Ms. Thu, for making our visit truly special. You have set a high standard for hospitality, and we look forward to our next stay at Sedona Suites.||Warm regards SY...

Read moreEnjoyed our previous staycay here in 2020, decided to give it another go for some personal celebrations this year.||Some changes were made which we totally understand, but felt a little sad about:|1. In-suite dining seems to be gone. At the very least, the menu is gone from the suite. Kinda missed starting our celebrations in the suite for some cozy Singaporean food.|2. Some amenities seem to be downgraded. From luxury tea leaf bags to the regular ones. In exchange, they now offer first round of cold drinks for free in the fridge.|3. Food options at their buffet breakfast has drastically decreased. No more Singaporean dishes. More of the avo/egg-on-toast kind of super simple, more gentrified, more generalized offerings. We get that it makes more business sense too in terms of costs/prep time. Just missed the old offerings. Singaporean dishes still available on the a la carte menu, just a 70% price hike.||What we still liked:|1. Its location, connectivity to mall and views of the walking street and City Hall.|2. Spacious and full equipped suites. The 2-bedroom has a small study area too.||What we disliked:|1. Hard to make the A/C less cold. A 26-degree setting still felt like 20-degree Celsius.|2. Door next to our main door kept opening and slamming. We found it odd. Then realized that they've placed the housekeeping room right next to our unit's entrance.|3. Room facing the Le Loi street - non-stop techno music (from the exercise group or some fair at the park, I couldn't tell) started at 5+am on a Sunday morning, with increasing volumes till 9+am. Severe headaches from the music making me totally regret this staycay. Now we know why they offered ear plugs on the bedside table.||Not sure if other rooms have the same issues but... perhaps try not to get the rooms facing...
