I recently completed a three-night stay at M Hotel Saigon, and while my overall experience was satisfactory, I am deeply disappointed with how a particular situation was handled during my stay. I feel it is necessary to bring this to your attention to ensure that future incidents of a similar nature are managed more professionally.During my stay, I received a call from the hotel receptionist, informing me that a complaint had been made against me for making excessive noise at night and disturbing other guests. This accusation was both untrue and extremely embarrassing. I want to state clearly that I did not make any noise during the night. My partner and I were asleep, and the only possible sounds from my room were regular movements such as walking to the restroom or flushing the toilet—none of which could be considered excessive or disruptive.I have stayed at both M City Hotel and M Hotel Saigon multiple times this year, and this is the first time I have ever encountered such an issue. I expect the hotel to handle such complaints with greater care and discretion. Instead, I was put in a very uncomfortable situation where I was asked directly whether I had made noise or not, as if I had to defend myself against an unsubstantiated claim.Even after this incident, I decided to file a complaint with the hotel booking platform regarding the way this was handled. Shortly after that, when I returned to the hotel at night, one of your staff members approached me in the lobby and apologized. While I appreciate the apology, I still feel the need to bring this matter directly to the hotel’s attention because it highlights a significant issue in how guest complaints are handled.I believe that in situations like this, the hotel should conduct proper verification rather than immediately confronting a guest based solely on a complaint from another party. Making a judgment without any form of investigation not only creates an unfair experience for the accused guest but also diminishes the professionalism of the hotel’s service.I urge your management to review how such complaints are handled in the future. A better approach would be to verify the claim before reaching out to the guest, perhaps by checking security footage or monitoring noise levels before assuming wrongdoing. This would ensure a more fair and respectful experience for all guests.Furthermore, I initially sent an email regarding this issue but have received no response. The lack of acknowledgment only adds to my disappointment. Since my concerns have been ignored, I have no choice but to express them publicly through this review. I sincerely hope your management will take this matter seriously and improve your complaint-handling process to prevent similar experiences for...
Read moreI have been staying in Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint. Which I always enjoyed staying. I was introduced to M Hotel Saigon because it is a relatively newer hotel. Location is right on the notorious beer street where it would be ideal for male travellers looking to pick up free lance companions. That also mean it is a bit more rowdy. A few Japanese food establishments around the corner. Tried all and I would said can give them a miss. Hotel was by far the worst I had experienced. Despite been a relatively new hotel with contemporary theme , I find that the hotel is not well designed. Here are some of the missed 1) there are numerous high steps to climb to get ito the hotel entrance . Not wheel chair friendly and not friendly for those with weak knees 2) the room had window on top of the closet which are not covered. As a result , daylight shines into the room as early as 5:30 am. 3) the washing basin is in the room into far from the bed , which will cause disturbances to the one sleeping when the partner uses it. 4) the heater in the showers took a long time to heat up. 5) despite feeding back to the reception , nothing were done to address the inconveniences 6) there is a corner small window which offers no views. I paid $140 Sgd for a minimalist room without breakfast. It is really not worth spending that money on a room that do not mean my basic needs. This is my last time i am going to stay here. For those who are reading this and many other positive reviews , I suggest read...
Read moreI do NOT recommend this hotel is you are on business trip. Hotel is nice, designed, clean BUT TOO noisy (from street and inside !) . And staff do not do any care on this.
So expect noise from the outside with many nightclub and bars. Vibrant bass until 3/4 am even during week day. I was at the 4th floor ! I asked to change room higher or oriented differently.
The staff keep saying like robot " Sorry but we are in city center, you have to expect some noise. You will find earplugs in your night stand drawer".
Cherry on the cake : Earplug did not helped and I kept hear the music bass.
Well, the room is pretty expensive considering the others hotels around. So having this kind of answers is not very professional.
Also expect noise from the inside because of group of young people making parties on a Friday evening. The staff said they will do tour to be sure everything is ok.
Corridor are made in tiles and kind of concrete wall : everyone walking in the corridor will be heard for sure with resonance.
So this hotel has a nice design, is super clean BUT is technically not adapted to noise, would it be external or internal noises.
This is a pity for such modern hotel. If you expect to be fresh and rested in the morning of business trip I dont recommend this hotel and the unhelping staff.
Also if overall modern design is great in my room the toilet were literally "in the shower" or kind of. Kind of strange things and not very nice. A bad design...
