Pizza 4P's Estella, nestled within the bustling Estella Place shopping mall in Ho Chi Minh City, offers a reliably delightful dining experience, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars in my personal estimation. While the city boasts a plethora of pizza options, 4Pâs distinguishes itself through a commitment to quality ingredients, innovative flavor combinations, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Estella branch, in particular, maintains the brand's signature aesthetic: a blend of rustic charm and modern minimalism, with exposed brick walls, warm lighting, and an open kitchen that allows diners to witness the culinary magic firsthand. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual and sophisticated, making it suitable for a range of occasions, from a relaxed family dinner to a casual catch-up with friends.
The service at Pizza 4P's Estella is consistently attentive and efficient. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations, a crucial aspect when navigating their diverse and often inventive offerings. They are quick to address any concerns and maintain a friendly demeanor throughout the meal, contributing significantly to the overall positive dining experience. Reservation is highly recommended, especially during peak hours, as the restaurant is consistently popular. The prompt and courteous service extends to the reservation process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free start to the meal.
While the pizza selection is undoubtedly a highlight, and they experiment with fascinating and unique combinations, it is the cheese fondue that truly stands out as the star of the menu for me. This dish transcends the typical fondue experience, offering a symphony of flavors and textures that are both comforting and exciting. The fondue is presented in a beautiful ceramic pot, bubbling with a rich, creamy blend of artisanal cheeses. The combination of cheeses is carefully curated to create a harmonious balance of sharpness, creaminess, and depth. The quality of the cheese is evident in its smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture and the complex, nuanced flavors that unfold with each bite.
Accompanying the cheese fondue are an array of dipping options that elevate the dish to a culinary masterpiece. Grilled bread, perfectly charred and crusty, provides a sturdy base for scooping up the molten cheese. The bread's subtle smokiness complements the richness of the fondue, creating a delightful contrast. Seasonal vegetables, such as roasted broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, add a touch of freshness and balance the richness of the cheese. The vegetables are cooked to perfection, retaining their crispness and natural sweetness. The addition of crispy prosciutto adds a salty, savory element that further enhances the flavor profile. The interplay of textures, from the creamy cheese to the crispy prosciutto and the firm vegetables, creates a sensory experience that is both satisfying and memorable. The fondue's portion size is generous, making it perfect for sharing among friends or family. It's a dish that invites conversation and camaraderie, encouraging diners to linger and savor each bite.
Their signature pizzas, such as the Burrata Prosciutto and the Four Cheese, are consistently popular choices. However, I have found that some of their more experimental combinations, while intriguing, don't always hit the mark. The creativity is appreciated, but sometimes the complexity of flavors can overwhelm the palate.
The price point at Pizza 4P's Estella is slightly higher than average for pizza in Ho Chi Minh City, but the quality of the food, the attentive service, and the inviting atmosphere justify the cost. While the cheese fondue is a must-try, the rest of the menu is also worth exploring. The restaurant's extensive beverage selection, including craft beers, wines, and cocktails, complements the food...
Read moreI live and own a place in Estella Heights! I eat at the restaurants in the mall many times a week. I love pizza. And 4ps in its many locations is always solid pizza. Sounds like having a 4ps in the mall is a slam dunk. I should be a regular there, right? The management of this particular 4ps however is struggling and have little or no operational savvy. Canât rate them higher because of their ridiculous policies towards customers! Their attitude and the unfriendly way it was enforced left us feeling like second class citizens. Just went to a less than half full restaurant and they would not give us a table inside. There were at least 20 tables free inside and many tables empty on the mall seating side. We were the only ones waiting to be seated. There was no line of folks just to be clear. They would only seat us outside in the heat. This is midway through the lunch rush and they have less than 50% of their restaurant full. With all this free capacity during what should be their busy time? This makes no sense from a business stand point.
I feel disrespected by the way they handled this. The staff was inflexible and unaccomodating and not very friendly. I hope the management team understands that maintaining zero walk in tables and allowing most of your capacity to go unused to âreservationâ during what should be one of your busiest times is just poor business strategy. Mistreating what should be a weekly repeat patron is...
Read moreFood was good and as expected for a 4p resturant, canât really fault the pasta or pizzaâs. The service however was disappointing, which is very rare for hcmc where service levels are generally very good. Few examples of some disappointing and odds moments which somewhat spoiled our experience. From placing our order, the member of staff took half the tables order and left leaving us hunting for a different member of staff to take the other half of the tables order 10 minutes later which meant one end of the table got their food whilst the other end was waiting. During meal, ordered drinks which took far too long. After we finished and it was clear to see we had finish they donât clear your table and leave it a mess. We asked for my daughterâs birthday cake to be brought out and had to start clearing our own table to make space for it. When the staff brought the birthday cake out, she brought the cake out still in the box and dumped it on the table. Which we had to prep ourselves. They also didnât bother bringing plates or spoons for the cake so had to ask for that a couple time. Basically it was a lot of work, staff lacking common sense, need urgent retraining. Then to top it off a member of staff came and asked for a five...
