Huyen Homestay — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

I wasn't able to stay here and I don't think I'll ever book this accommodation ever again.

I booked here via Traveloka a month (on Mar 29) before my stay given I will be staying for the Reunification Day from Apr 29 to Apr 30. My friend and I weren't sure about parkings so I called on Apr 18 to inquire the owner. I had a very suspicious feeling when she kept asking me about my booking, and never answered my initial question. She even said she couldn't find my booking. We then chatted on Zalo and she sent me a picture of my booking which was...? Then she called again to give all these long winded excuses about the accommodation being full (but it wasn't when I booked?), everyone booked a month before the holiday (did I not?), she couldn't reach me because Traveloka never provided any phone number (was it so hard for her to contact them to let me know? If an owner is responsible, that's the least they could do), Traveloka being the one at fault here because the Sales dept kept using her accommodation on their app against her consent (if the end result is them using her accommodation, she should've had at least some management on it because, again, responsibility) & I should call them for my refund. So I gave Traveloka 5 calls but all their customer service is "busy" but if the one at fault here is really them, we will have another conversation.

In all, what I got back from the event is that: (1) I could have been unhoused if I hadn't called despite my booking confirmation. (2) I couldn't find another accommodation due to the short notice so my friend and I had to redo all our plan. (3) Apparently, the owner is incompetent in managing her bookings on apps, and would have settled on letting her guests be unhoused quietly. (4) Irresponsibility and blaming. (5) Traveloka's Sales dept uses accommodations against the owners' consent? To be confirmed. (6) I have a hunch the owner is selling the rooms for higher prices (Reunification Day) so she wants to cancel my booking, and as of now, no one can convince me otherwise.

Fun experience really. Wouldn't try again. Highly wouldn't...

Had a wonderful stay at the hostel. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the nearby attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind. There were plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away, offering delicious dining options. The host contacts soon. And the apartment offer the full service. But you must check in urself. But as the stuff in photos. You could use the full kitchen there. But in alley,so u just could park motorcycle there. The car can not park there. And in the room,with refrigerator, ac, smart tv with cable or Netflix, YouTube. If possible, i would go there again when i go...
