Read moreR House Saigon, an animal rescue cafe, is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable places I have had the pleasure of visiting in Vietnam, and without a doubt, I will eagerly return in the future, hoping to catch a glimpse of Tô once again. Prior to touching the dogs, particularly Tô, it is advisable to allow them some time to become acquainted with you. Nevertheless, most of them warm up to strangers remarkably fast and eagerly seek out affection from visitors. My four-hour stay at this animal shelter/cafe felt like a fleeting moment, leaving me yearning to extend my visit from dawn till dusk throughout the remainder of my trip. The friendly staff and the affectionate canines contribute to an overwhelmingly welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, the affordability of the beverages is truly commendable. I highly encourage supporting R House Saigon through donations and purchasing their merchandise, as they graciously forgo any entrance fees. The dogs here are definitely well taken care of, and it is thanks to the R House team! I am really appreciative of them to be putting out so much for the dogs.

Upon arrival, the server did not even take us to the table and we had to sit ourselves at a random table. It took them 20m to bring a menu, and when we ordered food they kept telling us some dishes are unavailable. Okay, after we ordered the food, we kept waiting and the food did not come. After one hour, When I asked, they said the kitchen is closed due to ingredient shortage and was incapable to fulfill previous orders. If the kitchen is incapable of preparing the food, you should tell us so. While waiting, I observed and saw that the service was all messed up to the point they didn't know who ordered what and went to each table to ask if people ordered it. The staff clearly needs some training to prioritize tasks and keep calm. Also the thing about helping dogs is just a marketing strategy, people who really want to start a place to help dogs won't choose this location because the rent is madness...
