This is the most outrageous experience of customer service I've ever witnessed, and it will be the first and last time I visit this place:
We entered as a group of four. The staff asked us to wait while they arranged a table, so we had to stand outside in the scorching sun around noon. Once we were seated, we ordered two bowls of ramen, one rice dish, and a side dish because a few members of our group don’t eat ramen.
Fifteen minutes later, a staff member (maybe a manager, I’m not sure) told us that each person had to order a ramen dish or they wouldn’t serve us any further. If not, we should leave because there were other customers waiting outside?!?
Throughout the entire process of seating us and taking our order, no one mentioned any requirement that each person must order a main dish. Why would you talk to customers like that, saying there are other people waiting outside? We are also paying customers who ordered food. It’s not like we can’t afford it! If they had spoken to us politely and explained the situation, we might have understood and ordered more to accommodate the restaurant’s policy.
With such poor service and attitude, this place doesn’t deserve to have any customers. Take this seriously and stop treating customers like this.
I strongly advise against anyone...
Read moreDue to the owner’s reply, I have to edit the rating to 0 star. Please be mindful enough to read all 1 star review and appreciate you are too precious to receive 1 star. God dammn the service and the restaurant’s customer service. With this stubborn mindset, I feel it’s a waste of time for improvement reccomendation. The food which is cooked with hatred and negative spirit could not enhance the customers’ taste. Japanese dishes but Vietnamese customer service! No waiting guests but not allowing the customers going inside. The other restaurants offer free water and free umbrellas in case guests have to wait under the 100 degree F heat in Saigon. If you could not inspire Japanese customer service through your food and service, please do not take a Japanese name for your brand. It’s a shame! Business makes profits not...
Read moreWe were a group of five, and ordered 2 rice bowls, 2 ramen and 1 rice takeaway The manager said we have to make 1 ramen order each in order to continue dining in the restaurant. We would have changed the order, but the attitude of the manager was unacceptable - made us feel like we cant afford this place, what kind of attitude is this? We decided not to eat here and go to Ippudo nearby - ordered the same and got served well. Really I don't think you can survive with such bad service. If there's zero star, I would rate zero star!
Edit to respond to the comment: I ordered rice from your restaurant, but your staff said I must order ramen, cannot order rice. You can see the attitude again from the reply :) - eat here if you want to feel...
