Fantastic Culinary Experience – A Must-Visit in Saigon

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at ST25 by KOTO, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Saigon. From start to finish, it was a flawless culinary experience that beautifully showcased the creativity and depth of Vietnamese cuisine, with a refined and modern touch.

We sampled a variety of dishes, each one more impressive than the last. The Vietnamese beef carpaccio was a perfect balance of tenderness and bold seasoning, a fantastic start to the meal. The Kingfish Chả Cá Lã Vọng, a classic Hanoi-style dish, was rich in flavor and incredibly fresh — a standout that we’re still thinking about! We also tried the yellowtail kingfish and tiger prawns, both cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Each dish was not only full of vibrant flavors, but also showcased the quality and freshness of the ingredients.

For dessert, we went with the banana fritters and the Vietnamese flan — a sweet and satisfying end to a truly memorable meal. The banana fritters were crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, and the flan was silky smooth with just the right amount of sweetness.

Special mention must go to our server, Ms. Say, who provided attentive, professional, and genuinely warm service. Her knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations really enhanced our experience.

What truly sets ST25 by KOTO apart is its combination of high-end cuisine, elegant ambiance, and social impact — knowing the restaurant is part of the KOTO (Know One, Teach One) social enterprise makes the experience even more meaningful.

Considering the exceptional quality of the food and service, we found the pricing to be very reasonable. This is fine dining that remains accessible, and we believe it offers great value.

If you're in Saigon and looking to indulge in a truly elevated Vietnamese dining experience, ST25 by KOTO is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be returning on our next trip.

Thank you to the entire team for such a beautiful and...

Wow , ST25 is undoubtedly the best Vietnamese fusion restaurant I've been to in Vietnam , together the with the top-notch service delivered by KOTO team.

Although I'm Vietnamese , I keep myself opened to new Vietnamese dining concept. I was always excited to try out any fusion restaurant with a hope that the chef would successfully reinvent traditional dishes witu modern twist. Most of the time I came back disappointed , but I'm happy to have chosen ST25 today!

Everything we ordered was so delicious , thanks to the lady who accomodated us and showing us intriguing dishes that would surprise Vietnamese diners. We had for starters: Beef Carpaccio , Bap Xao , Spring Roll, and Pink Pomelo Salad , for main: Pho Xao and Bo Luc Lac. Every dish was burstling with flavors , all the ingredients were mixing in harmony with the other. My favorite was the Beef Carpaccio (didn't know nuoc mam complimented raw meat so well), Bap Xao (Saigon streetfood that was elevated to an exciting dish with the addition of scallop and wonton shell) , and Pho Xao with Australian Lamb (we were surprised that the meat was so tender and was not smelly at all). The portions were very large , so this was alot for 2 people. But since the food was so carefully prepared and tasty , and that we came with a hungry stomach , so we devoured everything.

Overall , I'd recommend ST25 by KOTL to try out Vietnamese food. Not only does the food here is good , but you are also supporting underprivileged teenagers to change their life (as KOTO trains street children to become professionals in the hospitality industry). Although it's quite pricey , the portions were great for sharing , plus you will enjoy a 20% discount if you are an...

A restaurant with a very inspiring mission and lots of potential to be a culinary star in the Saigon food scene. I dined here as a hotel guest.

The service by our host Quang Anh was warm, professional and out of this world. We had such an amazing fun time eating at the restaurant making the most of his expert recommendations to personalise our selection based off our tastes and dietary needs. We shared some laughs and felt really relaxed and left with big smiles on our faces.

The presentation of the food and portion sizes is excellent and I admire the dedication to single origin, seasonal and sustainable ingredient sourcing. The concept of the restaurant with the bold social mission is also such an amazing concept that the world needs more of.

Finally some improvements which I can’t help but note even though I don’t wanna give the restaurant less than 5 stars: firstly the food although experimental and sounded delicious was missing the mark a little in terms of flavour. Being Australian it reminds me of a lot of the higher end Asian Fusion restaurants you will find generically in the CBD of Melbourne with a Western chef. But since this is Vietnam I had higher expectations for the depth of flavour and use of herbs. Perhaps the Western chef may need to let the Vietnamese chef take the lead on some new menu additions.

Secondly the harsh downlighting is not the most pleasant dining experience, and may also need some mosquito control because I was bitten while dining so couldn’t relax as much and wanted to leave soon.

Those are just minor points, I would return to this restaurant again during my stay and be confident to recommend to my friends to try ST25...
