I have eaten at this restaurant a few times. The restaurant specializes in Vietnamese rolls and the taste of the food has been adjusted to suit foreign tourists. So that, if you want to try the real taste of Vietnamese food, you better go another place. If you don’t care much about the food but want to have meal at a cool place with AC, it’s fine. That day, after walking around the shopping mall, I stopped by the restaurant because I wanted a quick dinner. However, I had to wait 20 minutes for my food. I order 1 bowl of noodle with grilled pork and it was really disappointing. The portion was too small. It was 9pm so did the restaurant run out of ingredients? It looked more like a kid's portion. When we left there was another couple who has been waiting for at least 15 minutes with literally nothing on the table - no drinks, no utensils, no sauce bar (they usually have them on the table ready). It...

The vermicelli rice noodle with grilled pork and salad leaves is good, and similar to the ones in Melbourne - but with additional, unfamiliar fragrant herbs, and the addition of fried spring rolls.
The Bun Bo Hue disappoints - the broth was somewhat thin and lacking, and not spicy at all. The meat, firm and chewy.
What I did enjoy are the two entrées. The steam rice roll wrap is silky smooth, the sauce is sweet, nutty, salty, some chilli heat, and then there is a burst of freshness from the green herb filling. The bánh bột lọc, steam tapioca dumpling has a totally different texture - its sticky, chewy, filled with fragrant dried prawns and accompanied by a sweet,...
