I've recently noticed a few of the higher end places my wife and I go to have poor ratings and decided to add my 2 cents.
This mall is filled with nothing but high end luxury brands. I'd venture to say, the least expensive item in this mall might be $150 shirt, or a $500 wallet. Like all other high end retail stores on the planet, the customer limit is usually set to the amount of sales associates in the store. If you don't have the potential to buy somwthing, you'll probably be encouraged to leave.
Window shopping is discouraged.
That's how all high end stores in all countries are. I see the comment that this is a "ghost town" a lot here on Google, and yea, it is. Because not everyone has $2500 to spend on a purse from YSL or $600 to spend on a wallet. I'll say this, I've spent time in the various stores here while shopping for my wife, but you know what I've never done? I've never walked into Rolls Royce. Know why? Because I am not in the market for a Phantom. And when I am, on that day I'll walk in.
This mall sees the same amount of, if not more business than other malls here in HCMC. It's just selling more expensive goods and there fore less of them. It's still a 5 star...
Read moreOnly the ground floor is fully functioning with a lot of high-end fashion boutiques (Hermes, Dior, Bottega Veneta, Hugo Boss,). However, the interior and external design are both so bad that they ruin your entire shopping experience there. Bad management and maintenance too! That's the reason why the other floors of the building is partly open for business or totally shutdown. Not recommended for shopping here unless you're rich, want to buy luxury products and don't really care about...
In 2015, at the time when the Walking Avenue of Nguyen Hue was opening after few months. I had to walked to going out and one of times in the evening there a man, whose was wearing the black uniform, seem he were the staff of Union Square Mall and when he went after me. At first, he said "Wow! Your shirt are so good looking!" And next he was continuing to said "why are you pecs so huge!" Then I look him to turn into the Mall when this Mall is still under control by Vincom groups. For many years has passed, I don't want to repeat again the issues. But the Mall is services for higher and luxury brand, but they have a groups of staff has the worst behave! If I just going to windows shopping and don't buy anything. Is it the staff will talk bad...
