Very bad attitude towards Local Customers.
Yesterday I stopped by Atelier Biet Thu at 7:30 p.m. and received an unhappy attitude from the owner.
Specifically, when I entered the coffee shop and was greeted by the staff, the owner said loudly, "We don’t have any customer to greet". After being informed by other staff members that I was a new guest, the owner asked if I had an appointment with anyone and how many people were there. I said I was going with 2 people. After knowing, she told me to go outside with the reason that the restaurant was about to close for cleaning, but at that time there were 2 foreigners sitting at the table that she pointed. I gently inform that there’s other customers sitting there but was ignored. Instead, the employee turned to look at those 2 foreigners, smiling and talking happily while I didn't get any answer. After that, the owner still tried to "kick" me outside even though those two customers were still sitting, despite me continuing to ask her if those two customers were still sitting or not.
After I settled down to sit outside, I did not receive a single apology for the above attitude. The coffee shop continues to accept more foreign customers inside even though they just kicked me out with the excuse of cleaning the place.
To be honest, I am very disappointed because Atelier used to be my favorite coffee shop and I will have to consider continuing to support it...
Read moreMy experience at Atelier Bistro was nothing short of extraordinary. The warm and cozy ambiance, adorned with a rustic wooden charm, created an inviting atmosphere. The staff were not only friendly but also provided excellent recommendations, enhancing our overall dining experience.
Indulging in three freshly made waffles paired with six unique ice cream flavors was a culinary delight. The cinnamon sauce and tropical fruit sauce served as exceptional complements, elevating the already heavenly combination. The fruit-flavored ice creams, especially the mango and mulberry, were a thick burst of fruity goodness, with a subtle hint of sourness perfectly balancing the sweetness.
A definite highlight was the Coconut Burn – a signature masterpiece with rich coconut essence, accompanied by a subtle blend of burnt and sesame notes. It was a perfect match of flavors. To complete our culinary journey, we enjoyed a tiramisu that added another layer of perfection.
Atelier Bistro's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering a memorable dining experience truly sets it apart. They are very passionate about their selection and the ice cream that they make. This establishment has mastered the art of combining warm hospitality with an array of delectable flavors, making it a must-visit for those seeking...
Read moreShort: Just go there and eat a fresh waffle with fruits and a scoop of ice cream. You won't regret it, trust me.
Longer: A really nice cafe with super friendly staff and incredible tasty food! We had the waffles with fresh mango and put a scoop of home made ice cream on it. The staff is really nice and let us try every single sort of their home made ice cream, which was helpful since they have so many special ones. Not all of them were of our taste, but all of them had a great quality. On the first day we stayed quite long, since we were writing postcards and doing some stuff, so they just brought us some fresh water after we finished our coffees. :) Apart from that the waffles are so super tasty, especially with fruits and ice cream. And they are huge! I started to eat one main and two starters to get full, because the portions in Vietnam are rather small. But after one waffle with fruits I was completely saturated.
I can really recommend this cafe due to the staff and the food! Absolutely nothing to...
