I came early in the morning and couldn't check in until 2pm, so I left my luggage and walked around the city for about 2 hours. I was tired and was in the lobby, but the staff came and let me check in early at around 10am. Thank you so much. The breakfast at this hotel is really great. I ate it 4 times in 4 nights and 5 days. Various fruits, rice noodles with thick soup, bread, and vegetables. I made ban mi and ate it with rice noodles for 4 days. It is open from 6:30 to 10am, and I didn't want to leave once I entered Sakdang. If you want to eat buffet food like this around here, you have to pay more than 200,000 VDT, so I didn't want to buy food outside. The manager, Ngccyen, said that I wanted to go to Dalat by Futabus, but if you are a foreigner, you can buy a ticket, but you can't make a reservation for the pick-up and pop-up service. I had to make a reservation by phone, so the manager, Ngccyen, contacted me in detail on my behalf. He kindly made the reservation, so I was able to go comfortably. It was very windy while I was there, so I couldn't go to the sea to swim, but there was one day when it was a little calm, so I went swimming. However, the sea is dangerous for swimming. The water is deep, so unless you are a really good swimmer, you have to dip your feet in the water and enjoy the waves in the shallow area. I went to the deep area and swam, and it was so nice. I was so happy with the rough waves and the wind blowing on the beach. However, you really have to be careful when swimming. There are no lifeguards here like in Korea. The waves are big, so it's easy to get swept away. In addition to breakfast, I walked around the city for about 3 km to enjoy Vietnamese food. There is very little information about the city bus stop. I looked up the city bus to go to Hon Chong Cape, but it was really hard to find the stop. The information on the Internet was not up to date. If you take a city bus from Nha Trang, you can go to many places for 8,000 VDT. However, you have to be quiet on the city bus, and since there are no separate stop signs and they tell you by beeping, you have to know the location in advance and get on. To get to Hon Chong, you need to take buses 5.1 and 5.2. Po Nagar Pagoda is about a 30-minute walk from Hon Chong Cape. Since there are no city buses, I called a Grab taxi to go to the pagoda. It cost about 30,000 VDT. The way back to the hotel was difficult because the city bus routes were different. If you take bus 5.1 or 5.2, you have to walk from the pagoda to the beach. So to go downtown, you have to take bus 6 and get off near the cathedral. If you don't know the stop and keep going, you can go far to Nha Trang Intercity Bus Terminal, so be careful. I got off in downtown and walked back to the hotel. On the way back, I stopped by Mom's Hand Ban Mi. It's really the best Ban Mi. If you order via chat, delivery is free for less than 1km, so be...
Read moreI sometimes wonder if my family is just incredibly lucky. Originally, we booked another hotel, but a last-minute switch brought us to Green Beach Hotel in Nha Trang—and it turned out to be a gem.
We arrived early via sleeper bus, and the hotel graciously let us check in almost 8 hours ahead of time for a small fee. When they learned it was my daughter’s birthday week, they waived the fee entirely. As a platinum Amex member, I was upgraded to a suite, and for an 11-day stay, I paid less than the cost of a meal at Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
Why mention food? Because this hotel is perfectly located amidst countless dining options. Two newer local spots across the street were fantastic, and the manager’s recommendation led us to a corner spot serving some of the best Indian curry and rice I’ve had. We also explored numerous spas nearby, each with its own flair, making daily massages a must.
The staff at Green Beach are, hands down, some of the best I’ve encountered worldwide. I’ve stayed in many top-notch places, but this hotel surpasses them. They went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday special—planning an adventure at VinWonders, arranging transportation, surprising her with a mint cake, decorating our room with balloons, and even having one staff member draw a personalized birthday picture for her. Truly heartwarming.
The pool area is a hidden oasis. Grab a blue towel, lay it out on a lounger, and just let the mountain and beach views lull you to sleep—I did, on three separate occasions! It’s that relaxing.
Breakfast was another highlight. By the third day, the dining staff had memorized my preferences. Without asking, they’d have fresh lettuce, boiled eggs, sliced oranges, Parmesan, and strawberry jam waiting, even if it wasn’t on the menu.
The front desk staff was also delightful, always engaging my daughter with origami and games. I could name them all, but I’ll let their smiles in the attached photo speak for themselves.
If you’re in Nha Trang, save your money and treat yourself to the Green Beach Hotel. It’s an underrated gem that deserves more...

As a full-time traveler who has lived in hotels across Southeast Asia for the past three years, I have experienced a wide range of hospitality. However, my stay at Green Beach Hotel Nha Trang has truly set a new standard of excellence, thanks to the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the management team and staff.
When I first arrived, there was some confusion regarding my room reservation, and I felt a little disappointed. However, the staff on duty, especially Mr. Nguyen, handled the situation with such grace and professionalism that I quickly felt at ease. He resolved the issue immediately, ensuring my comfort throughout the process.
The following day, I was approached by Mr. Thi, the hotel manager, who checked in with me to see if I needed anything. His demeanor was nothing short of remarkable—polite, professional, and incredibly friendly. Later, I returned to my room to find a heartfelt apology letter accompanied by a plate of fresh fruits. This thoughtful gesture truly exemplifies the level of care and attention the staff provides to their guests.
Initially, I planned to stay for three nights, but the outstanding service and warmth of the staff and management encouraged me to extend my stay to 11 nights. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide, I can confidently say that Mr. Thi and Mr. Nguyen are world-class employees. Mr. Thi consistently went above and beyond, approaching me with genuine kindness and professionalism to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied with every aspect of my stay.
The owner and upper management should be immensely proud of having such extraordinary individuals on their team. Their dedication to creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests is truly commendable.
