Aboriginal Bush Traders — Attraction in Northern Territory

Wow, we had an awesome lunch here today with the kids. After a huge walking tour of Darwin in the morning, we were all weary and hungry (except for our 10-month-old who wanted to finally get out of the pram!). We enjoy the bush tea spritzer - verrry refreshing, not overly sweet but so delicious (and a strawberry milkshake for Miss-almost-7). Lunch was a ham/cheese croissant, the Native seasonal dip with Kakadu Tucker dukkah, native-infused oil and damper bread and the kangaroo hot dog. The food was so tasty and fresh - great flavour and quality. The service was impressive. This is one of the best spots in Darwin. They have one of my fav cafes in the NT: it’s been recently moved and renovated and they did amazing, so spacious and quiet and clean. It is a very calm environment. Anyway food is PERFECT some of the most delicious brunch food I’ve ever had - love the bush tucker / Aussie spice, it’s all incredible. Must try their kangaroo. Beautiful freshly made food infused with traditional bush tucker all at a reasonable price. Pancakes with wild hibiscus flower sensational and banana and wattleseed bread just moorish. Away from the tourist strip and worth the stroll for excellent coffee and delicious food with an Indigenous twist. Service fantastic and friendly, Indigenous owned and operated.
