Awesome setting overlooking the entertainment wharf area of Darwin. I went in for a quick pint in the air conditioning and ordered some spring rolls. Half hour goes by and so does my pint and after enquiring about the whereabouts of my much needed afternoon beer snacks they realised I had been forgotten. The bar manager very quickly poured me another pint on the house then to my surprise this MASSIVE basket of spring rolls came out. WoW. What a fantastic way to smooth things over....this is how customer service is done. Bravo to The Precinct staff. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Darwin.

Always out of certain drinks. Seems to be run by backpackers, yep another place run by backpackers who dont seem to care or know what theyre doing. It's just a gimmick really. Tourists will keep this place in business because of where it is. The lamb shanks were ok. But for something that was the daily special, it took about an hour to arrive at the table. The buffalo sausages came out first and while my partner waited for our entree and my main to arrive, 45 mins later, his meal was cold. They brought out another to replace his cold meal, but the sausages were half the size, dry and as hard as concrete. The manager did refund us for that meal, luckily, and we took both the cold sausages and the hard sausages home for the dog who loved them. Unfortunately though, we won't return here. This was strike 3.

I'm not even going to put a service star or a food start as we order 2 simple dishes and 1 entree the 1st main was brought out as the entree and when I seen staff I the eyes rolled as if I was the one at fault they were replacing the main as we were waiting for out poppers the wait at this point was 1 hr we then waited for another 45 mins before food arrived not only was this un exceptable there were on very few patrons as this was a lazy Sunday afternoon unfortunately when the meals did show up it was half the size of the original meal and the sausages were so hard they could have been dog chew toys This may not stop u from wasting your money but spend a bit more time looking else where reading other menus and don't be fooled by the surroundings of the precinct

First up, the food was great as per the pictures. The fish was NOT a mushy mess held together with batter like on Stokes Hill Wharf and the fries were great. BUT ..... I acknowledge that ANZAC day is a public holiday and staff probably get paid more, but to pay 40.25 for that small portion of food plus a beer, where on a normal day the food would have cost $26 as per menu is a rip off. $29 on the day fish & chips plus $9 for a schooner of Great Northern Super Crisp adds up to $38. Now add the $2.25 ANZAC day surcharge for the veteran ordering, and the disappointment is complete. Food was tasty, but I will never go back with friends because THAT was a rip-off.

We sat outside overlooking the wave pool, nice ambience. Fairly standard pub style menu. Order inside. Meals were delivered very quickly. We ordered: calamari: very tender, small serving, nicely presented pulled pork sliders: meat combined with slaw and sauce - very tasty chunky chips came with gravy which I was very happy about. Total cost approx $60 Recommend.

Good place to hang out at the Waterfront. Food is available 11:30am to 9:30pm, good selection on the menu plus they have daily specials, even a seniors menu.
