Oriental City Chinese Restaurant (东方城中餐馆) is a rare gem in the local dining scene — one of the very few places offering authentic Chinese cuisine, and doing it surprisingly well. If you’re craving the real deal, this place delivers.

The food here is genuinely traditional, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Dishes taste like they come straight from a kitchen in China — not watered down or overly westernized. We’ve been several times now, and each visit has been consistent in quality.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a subtle Asian décor that creates a relaxing dining experience. The staff is always kind and attentive, whether you’re there with a big group or just a couple of people.

On our most recent visit, I brought my two sons — one’s an adventurous eater and he loved trying a bit of everything, while the other stuck to plain rice (and that’s okay). We still had a great time as a family.

Full disclosure, we ordered take away from this restaurant twice and enjoyed the food so much we decided to visit this restaurant.

Some of the best Chinese food we've had in years, excellent quality meat, with the freshest vegetables.

The chef is from the north-west part of China, and the owner is welcoming, as he realised we had ordered online a few times already from this restaurant.

The restaurant was busy, which is always a great sign. Extensive menu with all your favourites, you will want to continue enjoying the whole menu. The Spring rolls are perfection, definitely try the beef.

Always nice to mix up your cuisines while travelling and loved we were able to find such excellent Chinese in Albania.

A nice surprise at the end of our meal to receive a dessert from the kitchen, our all-time favourite deep-fried bananas accompanied by candied walnuts.

We were also impressed with the great value high-quality wines available, we enjoyed a delicious Barolo from Italy with our meal.

Do yourself a favour and please visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed.
