Museum of Russian Art — Attraction in Yerevan

The Museum of Russian Art (the collection of Professor A.Abramyan) in Yerevan, the capital of the Republic of Armenia, is based on the personal collection of Professor Aram Y. Abramyan, whose greatest patriotism was this priceless gift to his historical homeland - Armenia. The collection of the Museum of Russian Art in Yerevan presents works by masters of painting, graphics, arts and crafts and scenography of an extremely important and very special period in the history of not only Russian but also world art (the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries). Not a big museum, two floors, mostly paintings, also some sculptures and porcelain figurines, it will take you around 45 minutes to see all. I have very little interest in sketches for theatrical performances and there are a lot of them. But there are good paintings besides that, so I was satisfied. 18 мая 2025 День музеев в Ереване мы захотели семьей посетить Музей русского искусства. Залы музея, их немного, красивы, гармоничное освещение, современно! Хочется рассмотреть каждую деталь картины, прочитать название , имя художника, год, НО!!! Одна из сотрудниц музея миллиард раз сделала мне и моему сыну замечания, что подходим близко к картинам, близко это 30 см от картины! У меня не хватает зрения, чтоб мелкие буквы увидеть, ну они правда очень маленькие! Также сказали, чтобы я заранее озаботилась очками для себя, очень вежливо от незнакомого человека? В заключение, очень хочется ходить по картинным галереям, показывать детям искусство, но как? Если тебе постоянно делают замечание? Мы ходим по музеям, имеем разный опыт, но такое постоянное напряжение на протяжении всего получаса от сотрудников я вижу впервые. Захочет ли ребенок 6 лет идти снова в музей, где нельзя рассмотреть мазки, год картины, прочитать ее название по слогам?
