Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10||I’ve stayed at Hotel Mashtots twice – once alone and once with my family (including my child) – and both times were truly excellent!||The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Yerevan. Republic Square is just a short walk away, and North Avenue and the Opera House are literally steps from the hotel. The Cascade, museums, cafés, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. It's the perfect spot for exploring the city on foot.||The rooms are clean, stylish, and very comfortable. When I stayed alone, I appreciated the quiet and cozy atmosphere. During my family stay, we were all very comfortable, and my child also enjoyed the experience. Despite being in the city center, the hotel is quiet and peaceful.||The staff is outstanding – warm, professional, and always ready to help. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast is fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day.||You can feel that the team genuinely cares about the guest experience, and everything is well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged.||Positive:|Excellent central location (close to Republic Square, North Avenue, Opera)|Clean and comfortable rooms|Quiet despite central location|Friendly and helpful staff|Good breakfast|Suitable for solo travelers and families||Negative:|Honestly, I didn’t experience anything negative during my stays.||I highly recommend Hotel Mashtots and will definitely stay here again on my next...
Read moreThe Mashtots Hotel is a bit hard to find at first, but they have a good map on-line that explains how to get there. Located at what I think is the good side of the city center, close to several bars on Pushkin street and of course walking distance to most of the attractions. ||||The room looked new with lots of space. Oddly it was below street level as was the entire ground (and only?) floor, but once you draw the curtains there is no visible evidence of that and the windows were 100% sound proof. The bathroom was also more than adequate with everything that you'd expect at such a hotel. ||||Breakfast was ok and WiFi worked perfectly, but probably the best thing was the lady at reception that went above and beyond to help with transportation as one of us was planning to head out to Tbilisi the following day. ||||If anything, it was too 'respectable' without the cool atmosphere often found in similar hotels. Perhaps that's because we saw no other guests during our short stay. But if you ignore this evasive quality (which personally I can't) it was a very good experience and for about 42 Euros also...
Read moreCheap but clean and comfortable room in a great location one minute walk from the Opera House and not much farther from everything else in tiny central Yerevan. A bit of a maze to get to, in the basement of an apartment building in the middle of a city block. The breakfast was excellent, not a buffet but made to order. Staff was friendly and helpful. But the design of the place makes the rooms noisy. All the rooms seem to open right off the lobby, so I imagine all share the same problem. Because the lobby is all tile, even if the staff or other customers aren't being too noisy, every bit of music, noise, or conversation from the lobby is funneled directly into the room and sounds like it's right next to your ear. I needed a white noise app on my phone turned up to high volume to sleep. Also, the windows of the rooms are exactly at street level, so the view is car tires (but very little street noise due to the location), and if you leave the window open to get some air cats WILL come in. If they sort out the noise problem, though, this would be a great place to stay...
