"I recently stayed at the Royal Hotel and had a mixed experience. The positives: The rooms were clean and inviting when we arrived, with a pleasant smell and spotless toilets. The reception staff were fantastic (I wish I remembered the name of the person who helped us!). The location is ideal - not right in the bustling center, but close enough to walk to the square and surrounded by plenty of restaurants.
However, there are a few areas for improvement. Room cleaning happens around 4 pm, which wasn't ideal as we sometimes returned to the hotel earlier. It would be much better if they offered earlier cleaning times. Also, while towels were changed daily, toiletries like soap and shampoo were not refilled. This was a bit inconvenient. Another thing to note is the lack of a bidet in the bathroom.
While I understand they are a 4-star hotel (though I'd rate it slightly lower), it would be great if they offered some hotel apartment-style amenities like a gas range or oven, but I understand this may not be feasible.
Despite these issues, I would consider staying at the Royal Hotel again due to the clean rooms, excellent reception service, and perfect location. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration."
Royal Hotel Buffet: Positives: • Variety: There's a good selection of food to choose from. • Ham and sausage: If you enjoy these, you'll find plenty to satisfy your cravings. • Basic options: The buffet includes standard breakfast items like eggs and bread. Negatives: • Lack of cooked meat: If you're a meat lover, you might be disappointed by the lack of hot, cooked options. • Atmosphere: The restaurant feels lonely and sad, which can detract from the dining experience. Overall: If you're looking for a buffet with a wide variety of food, including lots of ham and sausage, the Royal Hotel might be a good choice. However, if you're expecting a hot cooked breakfast or a lively atmosphere, you might want to consider other options. Additional Tips: • Check the menu in advance: If you have specific dietary restrictions or preferences, it's a good idea to check the hotel's website or call them directly to see what's available. • Go early or late: If you want to avoid crowds, consider going to the buffet either early in the morning or later in...
Read moreFirst time I arrived in this hotel, 2 lady is in the reception, 1 lady is very welcoming and approachable, the other one was not, she is wearing a color green suit, I checked in and went in my room, Room is acceptable, clean, very spacious and the view is nice, comfortable bed and pillow, I really sleep well at night, you can see a church from your window. Location is perfect, there is a lot of supermarket and restaurant around, even bus stop is only 10min by walk, house keeping is good they clean very well the room, Im just really happy from the first time Marina from house keeping department is very approachable, she went and my room and ask me if I need anything with a smile. I would recommend that they should have a proper customer service training specially in the reception. 1 lady in the reception is not even smiling, not paying attention with you a lot. Even when I checked out she didn’t even ask me How is my stay in the hotel, usually mostly the hotel they do. They will do only check in and after that they not care with the guest, Im not really happy with Reception ladies. I not would recommend this hotel because of the attitude of...
Read moreOur room does not have good wifi. I have to open the door and stand in the hallway. There are 2 fire detectors on the ceiling above the bed. Perhaps one is for carbon monoxide? They both blink their bright, red lights 24/7. It's like an all night rave. I have to wear a sleep mask. We phoned reception 2x to get the safe working. No response. I had to call down for toilet paper after our room had been cleaned. That was an oversight. The bed and linens are comfortable. I would like more than one towel per person. Maybe a couple of hand towels? Also, more than 2 clothes hangers. The shower design is dumb. The floor gets soaked no matter how careful you are. I like the hair dryer. The deadbolt on our door doesn't close. I'm glad that the tap water is cold and delicious to drink because we are provided with only 2 small bottles of water. We have a fridge and a kettle with teas and instant coffee. The number for service is 100. We are getting calls from patrons to our room because we are #110. This is not cool. Especially at 1:30 am. It's on a busy street. I wear earplugs to stifle the noise. However, I appreciate the...
